Atropine
Atropine is basically a drug which is sympathomimetic drug. When you use the word mimetic then it means about to copy so this is a sympathomimetic drug that's why it mimic the action of sympathetic system and we all know that sympathetic system activate your fight and flight response.
Atropine is a drug which is considered as an antidote for the acetylcholine because acetylcholine is the parasympathomimetic drug.
it means that acetylcholine mimic the action of parasympathetic system which normalise your body conditions.

Atropine uses
If we talk about the uses of atropine then there are several uses of atropine according to the systems about which we are talking as we all know that there are different body systems present in our human like gastrointestinal system cardiovascular system etc.
- If we talk about cardiovascular system then atropine is a drug that elevate the blood pressure and as a result of increasing blood pressure it cause increase in heartbeat that's why it can be given to the patients who have bradycardia means lower heartbeat so when atropine will be given to them it can normalise their heartbeat.

- If we talk about gastrointestinal system then atropine also have effects on it and the effects of atropine on the gastrointestinal system are increased in mucous secretion and hence increase in motility of gastric muscle.
