Revolutionary political career
Do Moi was born on February 2, 1918, in Dong Fu, Tan Trai, next to Hanoi, the current capital of Vietnam. Although he is now known as Do Moi, his family name was Wang Dai Kong. He went out in search of livelihood from his childhood. So it did not become an opportunity to study. He started his career as a house painter.

Then, at the age of 14, he became involved in nationalist politics. Whose goal was to drive the French colonialists out of the country. Then, at the age of 18, she married Hang Pham and started her family life.

At the age of 19, he joined the French Popular Front. Who were protesting against the French. Then in 1939, at the age of 22, Ho Chi Minh joined the Indochina Communist Party. This was his first step into formal politics.Two years later, he was arrested by the French colonial government and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Moi escaped through a prison sewer after spending four years in Hanoi's Hua Lo prison. He then took part in various revolutionary struggles against the French.
