Vielen Dank!
Vielen Dank an über 50 User, die sich am Spendenmarathon für Uganda beteiligt haben! Es war eine coole "Geburtstagsparty"! Ich erhielt bei der Organisation Unterstützung durch hilfreiche Werkzeuge, der ein oder andere warf ein Auge auf den richtigen Weg der Geschenke auf den Gabentisch. Nicht jeder Gast tauchte im Saal auf, ich bekam auch manch Couvert still und heimlich zugesteckt. Ja, jeder "Gratulant" erfüllte meinen Wunsch und spendete (mind.) 1 STEEM für Uganda. Und so landeten Kraft der Community sage und schreibe 943 STEEM in der Geburtstagskasse!
Ich hatte versprochen, als Gastgeber einen auszugeben: in Form der Verdopplung aller eingegangenen Spenden. Und so landeten wir nach Abgabe des letzten Staffelstabs bei 1886 STEEM.
Im Laufe der zehn Spendentage sackte der Kurs immer mehr ab. Bedauerlich. Ich entschied mich also für den höchsten Tageskurs (lt. CoinGecko) am gestrigen Tag des Zieleinlaufs, um die STEEM in EURO umzurechnen.

So hatten wir alle einen Überblick.
Das war wirklich spannend und es war schön zu sehen, dass die Community funktioniert.
Das Geld ist längst ausgegeben.
800,-€ sind bis jetzt nach Uganda überwiesen,
davon 100,-€ für die Witwe von Bosco's Cousin,
der bei einem Verkehrsunfall letzte Woche ums Leben kam.
Sie hat zwei Kinder im Alter von 1 und 4 Jahren.
Es sind noch nicht alle Lebensmittel verteilt.
Ich werde, wie immer, davon berichten.
Ich mochte mich auch ganz herzlich beim @steemcurator01 und @steemcurator02 bedanken.
Ohne die hohen Votes hätten wir dieses Jahr nicht soviel helfen können, denn es ist wirklich schwer geworden, Spenden zu sammeln. #helpingwithsteem hat wirklich enorm geholfen.
So und jetzt kommt erstmal Weihnachten!

Schön fand ich auch, dass du noch ein paar helfende Hände/Augen hattest. Ich konnte in den letzten Tagen leider nicht ganz so viel beitragen. Ich hoffe in der nächsten Zeit wird es etwas besser und ruhiger... also nach morgen. Da steht noch Schrankaufbau in der Studentenbude auf dem Programm. 💪

Was mich noch besonders gefreut hat, dass alte Chainkameraden wie Nerdi, Doti und Karl zur Party gekommen sind. @reiseamateur, hatte ja eine weite Anreise und machte vorher extra noch bei einer "Tanke" halt um ein Geschenk zu besorgen.
Also ohne großes Brimborium, rundum gelungene und vor allem sinnvolle Party!
