My Game-Dev journey

Hello Everyone!!!

This is my first post in this community and I am so glad I found a community about self-development because for the last few months, I have been trying to learn new things and I am going to talk about it here. A few months ago I decided to learn unity. unity is a game engine where you can develop your games, I was always fascinated about making my own game but it was not going well at first because I didn't have prior programming knowledge or experience when I first installed Unity. after that, I found some other powerful engines and some engines in which you don't need to know programming to make your games. so I was hesitant at first and finally decided to go with Unity I knew I was choosing the harder path, but since I made that decision months ago I am still sticking to Unity and learning to make games by watching tutorials.

Then I started making games by following tutorials but it was not working out for me and a lot of people suggested me to make a replica of games that's already been made, so I started making simple games without following tutorials and I made one. and I uploaded it to a website where a lot of game developers both beginners and experts alike join and host gamejams (game jams are competitions where you have to make a game in a certain period of time and a theme that the host provides) and you can sell or upload it for free.

The game I uploaded was classic Ping Pong an arcade game, the game runs on a web browser itself and I made a post in steemit about the game and you can play it too, follow the link and comment me on what you thought. if you have any game ideas let me know I'll try to make it .
