**The Effects of Family Planning on a Nation's Population and its Economy**

Hello everyone. I feel good coming across this topic and also participating in this contest because this is a topic so many people shy away from but it will be good if I can talk about it an enlighten a lot of people on it.

What do you understand about family planning?

Family planning is the conclusion and decision of two adults on how many children they want to give birth to. Family planning can include preventing pregnancy and also working on fertility.
Family planning isn’t just having to control the number of kids you want to have but also giving some time interval too. Family planning can be done through different methods. It can be done through the use of contraceptive, natural method and counseling itself.

With the help of family planning, the rate at which some unwanted pregnancies happen may reduce. We will not have more kids with improper care on the streets.

Do you think countries should regulate their population using Family Planning? How do you think that will help them? Explain

Why do people engage themselves in family planning in the first place? People engage in it because they need to be able to control the number of kids that they want to have. Do you know that some countries are over populated due to the fact that people are not able to control their birth rate and that is more reason why a lot of people can’t afford to take care of the number of kids they give birth to which increases the poverty level of the country and when the poverty level is increased, there will be more crime rate.

For this reason, I think countries should be able to regulate their population with the use of family planning.

Do you encourage family planning? Tell us your reasons.

This is for the married ones. There is no way you will get married and won’t make love to your partner. If you make love to someone, it means that the woman is likely to get pregnant. If she gets pregnant and gives birth to the child, it is an added responsibility especially when they are not capable of training one more child. This is where family planning should come in.

In my words, I encourage family planning and that’s because you won’t have to spend an extra cost on an unwanted child or pregnancy.
Secondly, it will save you from moments like abortion which may even cost one’s life so family planning is the best.

Tell us about some of the methods or types of family planning you know or have heard of.

I know about contraceptives. This is mostly on the woman side. She takes some pills so that when she makes love to her man, she doesn’t get pregnant. It has its side effect and the way to escape that is by not using it all the time.

The other method is know is the abstinence method which is likely not possible because anyone who is married is most likely to have sex.
