| What do you understand by the role of a moderator |

A moderator is one of the biggest jobs to do in the different community in steemit. A moderator is seen as a teacher and a guardian in every community. A moderator is one who host contest for other people to also take part. A moderator is also one who gets newbies in steemit verified [greeter] a moderator is one who checks and promote the community which he or she moderate. A moderator has the role of a headmaster in a community.

In my own case I would pick the steem kids and parents community. Yes because that is one of the best community which I have ever posted so far on steemit. Steem kids and parents community is a big community and I know to be a moderator there is not gonna be a breeze but there is no harm in trial. steemkids and parents is a community where you can share anything that is helpful to anyone and you will get rewarded for that. I have several times participated on their contest even without being the winner you may get a curator upvote.
And if your post has good quality you may be picked for booming support in a particular day. The reason why I will like to be a moderator there is to help those who post there that don't have enough steem power but share quality post there by trying to add few of them in the list of the six people which will be aware booming vote. Also I will like to host contest like the ones I see in other community there so that we can have a robust community upgrade.

I will like to share contest which will promote the community growth I will like to also share things that will help the community in any way. Aside from that I will make some kind of contest which will be for only the newbies on steemit with that contest I will give them reward that will help them to boost their steem power.
