Greetings and welcome to my blog. We all know the popular saying that money is the root of all evil but the question is “Is money really the root of all evi?”. Before I proceed to answer that question, I want to invite @beewrites @presh07 and @divinelife to participate in this contest.
Well money is not the root of all evil, the love of money is. Money in itself is neither good or bad. Money is amoral. What makes money good or bad depends on the person who handles the money. If money enters the hands of a bad person, it becomes bad and if it enters the hands of a good person, it becomes good.
So it’s about how people uses money that makes it bad and make bad things happen. I have seen examples of how money made things good. I have used money to help people in need over and over again and I have seen people use money to have the motherless babies homes, orphanages and even pay people’s bills, start up business for people and even pay school fees and sent people abroad. The people who had the money were good people and the money did good through them.
Personally I see money as a tool to use to achieve some great visions in my life. I have been in positions where I had great things I wanted to do with money but I couldn’t accomplish them until money came like starting my business and helping push my ministry. Money is a good tool if used wisely. I know the influence of money in the life of people.
Money is said to be an amplifier hence I try to tread carefully. I wouldn’t want the love of money to get a grip of me when I can do anything to get money. It’s ok to have money but not at all cost. It’s not a do or die affair. I have seen situations where people do anything and I literally mean anything just to make money. I have seen a lady who traveled all the way from her school to meet an unknown man in Abuja just because she wants to get money.
I have seen people engage themseves in money rituals, killing their loved ones all because they want to make money. Hence in conclusion am saying that the love of money pushes people to do evil hence we should not love money but have a sincere desire to get wealth genuinely because money is needed to run our everyday life.
