At present, people are very often late or may not come at all to an appointment, work, class, and so on. And each person is completely different. For example, I’ll take myself, I’m the kind of person who terribly dislikes being late. Just some painful fear. It is unpleasant that they are waiting for you and relying on your punctuality, besides, you always feel uncomfortable if they pay attention to you as a latecomer.

There have been several cases in the past when I had to experience these unpleasant moments myself. Then the thought really arose that it was better not to come at all than to be late. But these were only thoughts, because not coming at all could result in more serious problems than a slight delay. Now, thanks to cell phones, you can both reschedule a meeting and warn that you will be late.

I try to arrive early so that possible delays do not interfere with the meeting. Of course, we are not talking about a date when the girl's being late is not such a serious reason to change plans.

In addition, take the same students at universities who, for many reasons, may be late. Yes, I understand that this is completely disrespectful towards the teacher, as this may affect the attitude of the teacher towards the student. It’s better to be late, but at the same time come to a couple and learn the topic that can possibly get you in the test or on the exam, than not to come to the couple at all and skip the lesson that can become very important for you.

The best thing for a student is to appear in a class, a given topic and a loyal attitude towards the student from the teacher and in the future a given credit or exam, which is very important for the future, which may affect the student's assessment, or a little more seriously on the very characteristics of the student, which can influence the profession in the future. That's why, I want to say that at present there are many ways for everyone to report being late, rescheduling meetings or canceling meetings, and so on. I want that “better to come late than not to come at all”.
