The necessity of maintaining a clean wardrobe

INTRODUCTION

Just as the title of this post suggests, we give more attention to our rooms, environment, clothes, and dishes when it comes to keeping things clean. But we forget or neglect how how necessary it is, to keep the shield that stores our clothes. ** I am talking about the wardrobe!** Is it not surprising that even after we may have swept the rooms, the wardrobe is forgotten to be made clean?** Many people may have not looked into their wardrobe from year to year and this is very bad.

Leaving the wardrobe for a long time without cleaning it is an unhealthy practice and it is very risky. My post here today is to remind us how necessary it is to maintain a clean wardrobe.

WHAT IS WARDROBE?

There are other names that wardrobe could be associated with. Wardrobe can also be called almirah or be called armoire. A wardrobe is a furniture or metal accommodation provided or carved out in a room for the purpose of storing clothes, apparels or accessories. The wardrobe could be made of wood or it is carved during building construction. There are many types of wardrobe but I will briefly outline few of them below:

• The wooden wardrobe

• Modular wardrobe

• Glass wardrobe

• Customized wardrobe

• Fitted wardrobe

• Standalone wardrobe

• Hinged wardrobe

• Sliding door wardrobe

• Open wardrobe

There are still other types of wardrobe but these are just few I can point out.

SOME BENEFITS OF HAVING WARDROBES IN THE HOUSE

Wardrobe is one of the important items that beautifies the room and keep the house organized in terms clothes and accessories arrangement. Some of the benefits of having wardrobe include the following:

• Just been said, having wardrobes makes places clothes in an organized fashion.
  When there are wardrobes in the house, neat or dirty clothes will not be seen scattered all around. Clothes will be organized in such a way that the dirty ones have their right place as it will be separated from the washed, ironed and neat clothes.

• There varieties of wardrobes that are suitably designed in different styles that meets your clothing and accessories placement.

• The use of wardrobes enables an easy and fast accessibilty to clothes and accessories

• Little or no cost of maintenance
  Wardrobes are easy to manage as it does not require money except the one used to buy or sew new clothes.

• It does not require much space
  Other storage items take more space unlike the wardrobe. Wardrobes save space because of its portable and flexible sizes.

WHY CLEANING THE WARDROBE IS NECESSARY

Considering high premium one may place on cleaning every other part of the house, it is also necessary to imbibe the habit of maintaining a clean wardrobe. These are some of the reasons to be maintaining a clean wardrobe:

• To easily identify expiring accessories or clothes that are no longer useful.

• Cleaning the wardrobe Prevents the chances of insects such cockroaches and wall geckos , from multiplying to cause damage to clothes or accessories

• Cleaning the wardrobe also involves separating used or dirty clothes from the neat ones.
  When used or dirty clothes are not separated, there is the likely chance of the entire clothing getting contracting viruses.

• Maintaining a clean wardrobe keeps it neat and as well, keep the clothes safe.

• Stoping the accumulation of rusts, stains dirty or the oils from damaging the clothes and accessories.

• When the wardrobe is kept clean, it has a way of preserving or retaining the quality of the fabrics
