Today I am writing about an interesting and knowledgeable contest which is launched by @steem4nigeria all time my favourite topic "l learnt to say "NO" So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic
Do you always find it hard to say NO to people's request? |

Of course, whenever anyone requests me, I am not able to say no to them quickly. I feel that saying no is the best option. But I have a lot of difficulty in saying no. Because I always feel that we should help everyone, we should be useful to everyone. I am not straight forward. I do not like people who speak rudely and also I go through mental stress due to my inability to say no.
Sometimes I have to listen to other family members also saying that you should have said no. You got trapped in all these things by force, you took extra responsibility on your head. So at that time I feel that if I had said no, I would have been saved from all these situations and on the contrary I see people who say no easily, they neither have to work for anyone nor are they under any mental stress. Nowadays, people who say no or are straight forward, are very happy and are more successful.

There are such relatives in our life who sometimes trouble you a lot but we have to say yes to their work even if we don't want to. There are many reasons for not being able to say no like
If I say No, they will feel bad.
Maybe they need me a lot and if I say No, then their work may get spoiled.
If I say No, they may end their relationship with me. Because nowadays people keep a relationship with you only for their benefit. If you say no to their work, they directly end the relationship. I have suffered this very well. I have got such relatives who end the relationship on every small thing.

Everyone has many experiences in life, which hurt our heart and every day we get to learn a new lesson about how society is. It cannot be like you, it cannot be like what you think. Society thinks 10 steps ahead of what you think and these days there is no time for goodness.
Do good and throw it in the river
This saying is proving to be absolutely correct. I am sharing an experience of my life with all of you. When I learnt to say no. I am the youngest daughter-in-law in my in-laws' house, neither can I say anything to the children, nor can I say anything to the elders. But everyone can speak to me, I am available for everyone, children and elders. If they ask me to do any work, I do it with a smile thinking that it is the work of a daughter-in-law.
Everyone will be happy with me, will praise me, even if I am unwell, even if I was pregnant, whatever work anyone asked me to do, I did it and even after that I used to get so many taunts and faults in every work, I did it wrong, I did not do it like this, so when I slowly understood the nature of my in-laws. Then I started to understand that I had given my hundred percent from my side. But these people have a habit, so when I have to listen to them, why should I bother myself? So from that day I started saying no and it was natural for the other person to feel bad, because they were not used to hearing no.
They felt bad, that was my victory.

This is my advice to those people who struggle to say no. I would advise them to help only as much as needed, do not help anyone by bothering your family, your children. Because no one is going to applaud you. If you help today, the person will remember it for two days, on the third day if you make a mistake, he will not delay even a second in insulting you.
At that time you will sit and think why did I help them. If you do not feel bad, then to avoid bothering you and them, start saying no from now itself. No one remembers, nowadays everyone does their work, let the public go to hell, this is a system of accounting.
So be straight forward, think with your mind and not your heart. Because when you will need help, hardly anyone will be there to help you. They will not take even 1 minute to say no. The truth is that no matter what a person says, this is the truth of life and society.
