The Processes For Preparing The Food
Before the process begin let take a look at the necessary things that is require;
- Yam
- Red oil
- Fish
- Onions
- Salt
- Crayfish
- season cube
- Pepper
- Edusa leaf
Procedure
Pill and cut the yam into your desirable sizes.
Wash the yam three to four times and put inside the pot.
Wash the fish and put, the grinded crayfish, the slice onions, pepper, salt and seasoning cube in the pot on the ground state.
- Add water to your desirable measure and then put the pot on fire.
- As the food is on fire, plug the Edusa leaf, wash, slice and set it aside.
After 30minute, open the pot, check the yam if it is soft and stir and have a taste of all the ingredients you put if all the ingredients has taken their respective places. If not, you can add the one that is not ok.
Add red oil, stir and allow it for more 15minute.
- Add the Edusa leaf, stir and off the lights or bring down the pot. You can as well use vegetable, scent leaf, spinach or any other leaf of your choice but me I prefer using Edusa leaf because I like the flavor and the it taste different.

The porridge Yam comprises of carbohydrates, protein, vitamins and many other nutrients that the body needs to maintain good health.

Porridge Yam can be eaten as breakfast, lunch or dinner, it all depend on individual. This particular one I prepare, I use it as my breakfast.
