No wonder they say, how I wish I know, the sentence is always made at the end of a regret.
What are the things you think you should have done better.
Learning skill. After my secondary school, I was privilege to leave with one of Aunt who was a semstres. She has a big shop where she goes every day to work. After a week, she told me I should be coming to her shop with her and I said yes. The following day, I follow to her shop.
As she was working, she asked me if I don't want to learn sewing. I was happy to jump into one machine thinking that is easy as I see here going up and down with her legs. Omg, I couldn't roll my leg on the sewing machine as I thought, my interest now reduce in learning plus sitting at one spot for a longer time.
I was discouraged and decided not to join her to the office again. I did mean I knew that it takes patience to achieve success in life, I would have endure the pains and learn the work free of charge.
How long did it take you to realize you missed that privilege or opportunity to do something better and how did you feel.
The present situation that we are today has made me to do self-reflection many times. The great opportunity of learning tailoring skill I missed when I finish my secondary school back then (11) year ago is a big regret to me now.
Most times I feel like crying out, inside me I know am crying. When I begin to feel the lost I made to myself, I fell very sad, unhappy because I know by now I would've been a boss on my own. Now that the chance is not again as before due to family, am thinking to start it all over. Is not too late for me, is just about determination.
Give advice to your reader who might be treading at the moment the same path as you.
My people used to say, look for a black goat now that is not yet dark. To all the people coming across this post, make use of any opportunity you're privilege to have in this life. No knowledge is a waste, they said. Whether it is your field or your skill dream, do not hesitate to learn something about it.
No one knows what tomorrow will be. The knowledge you have now might takes you to a higher level tomorrow. Try to avoid a regret like me, if you're currently doing something, focus on it, increase your effort to know even beyond you're instructor after all we are in the world of freedom thus, overtaking is allowed. Don't forget, the time you're waiting for may be too late, so use this time and had value to yourself.
Sorry to read your post because you may have lost your opportunity and time to sew. It's really a bad thing and thanks for mentioning me otherwise I wouldn't have known about it. It's great to know about it and thank you. Now I don't know what to say to comfort you because you lost that time and you will never get that time back now you are gone and also we all know that when everyone is gone again it never comes back.
