My Neighborhood Watch #5 - Reporting Events Around us

Hi, friends of this great community and neighborhood watch arena, It is another great and excellent time to share with everyone those happy events around me. Hmm, for today's story, it is all about the ongoing school graduation. An observation from events happening around us since last week, especially from our primary and secondary schools are winding up for the summer holidays, has added colors to both graduands and event centers.

Our children have continued to look forward to this great moment and children's party. I can remember my kids asking me time without a number when the children's party would take effect. Yesterday being the 22nd day of July ended this curiosity and disturbance towards attending this so much hyped and remembered children's graduation party. This happened in the city and event centered at Luxury City Event Hall.

The image above is a typical outfit of how we rocked the day. The boys and I just arrived at the venue when we were dropped off by hubby. He was heading to his workplace and couldn't stay with us and hence had to just stop us off and continue his journey down the road. But funnily by second was just like him. He was aware I had some juice packs and biscuits in my handbag for the occasion, so as soon as we sat down for the event, he made a straight call to bring out what I had in the bag.

This was just like a fuel to start up the day's activities for him. Quickly he was done in a couple of seconds and headed to look for his classmates around given their sitting positions. By this time, most parents and pupils of the school are seated. The class teachers made it even a lot easier as they were able to identify the pupils in their classes and took them from their parents. At least, parents also know them to release their wards in confidence and also watch as they go to their selected space.

Parents also had their designated place mapped out for them to stay and well pupils. The key highlights are those pupils graduating from our lower to higher class. Those in Creche to Nursery, Nursery to Primary, Primary to Secondary, and Jss to Senior Class. They were the day's bride for everyone as they are mostly seen in the graduating gowns. Those from creche to nursery are not really celebrated due to their ages.

In no distant time, the full events of the day started. Ushering in all graduating classes started in a full course. They were fully kit for the day's event and in their graduating gowns. They were all dressed in yellow as their ceremonial wear and the graduating apron/gown on this.

During this year's graduation ceremony, the school was able to present its first senior and assistant prefects comprising the male and female genders. These students were presented to the entire students and parents. This goes beyond the fact that they were mentioned. It also shows the progression and heights the school has attained over this period. There are no longer vacant classes due to lack of students at that level. All classes are fully occupied and equipped right from creche to the senior secondary levels.

The next presented was a cultural dance by some group of students. This is an exhibition of the different cultural dances that make us up. The children were really at their best and dancing just as prepared for. We the parents were really impressed by the enthusiasm and energy put in by mere looking at their faces. We were caught taking snapshots of their different displays at different intervals.

Today's ceremony was filled with so many varieties to entertain everyone. Not forgetting in the entertainment list was the light refreshment shared round. parents and every other guest was served a play of jollof rice and a bottle of drink.

Also, the term's result was shared with parents in attendance. I was able to collect that of my children together with the almanac that goes with it.
