Hi friends. It is another lovely moment to share my views on the topic. We have at one time experienced days that seem to be years that made us wonder due to the several things that happened within a short while.

Sometimes, the concurrence of things that occur within a short moment, which ordinarily should happen over days, weeks, or months, makes us now say a day like a thousand years.

Let me share a story that fits into the shared topic. A few months ago when I was to accompany my mom on a trip for an anticipated visit. The preparations were something else as every needed item had to be considered given the overseas trip that wouldn't accept forgetfulness.

Therefore, aside from the whole buying and packaging of items over a few rushed periods, it was hectic, laborious, and stressed everyone around. These were indeed days that seemed like a thousand years. Not until it was all gathered, the rest we wanted was far from the books.

The second one was the real deal that broke the camel's back. It was a journey that took a fortune of comfort from us. I started the journey with Mom from east to west, where she would take off from. Due to the load burden on us, we had to use road transportation.

This was a journey for 7:45 am when we left our base for the west. It was a long one for us. We cannot explain what happened, or why it took us that long but after consideration and flashback, it was obvious the driver was not only a smart driver but the cause of this.

We got to our final destination after 14 hours on the road. It was tiring, my mom complained of her legs, too much sitting in a place, and fatigue. My elder sister who has waited in the park for pick up had to go back and made preparations for us in a close by hotel.

She successfully booked one for us and as well kept our dinner in the room. When we arrived, we already knew where we were headed too. We go there, freshened up, and had our forst responsible meal of the day by that night.

It was a long, stressful, and overwhelming daycthat looked like a thousand years all spent in just a day.

This is my story for the topic shared for the week.
