Diary Game for 11/11/2024|| Sad day, Lost a Course mate😭

Hello, Steemians from all over the world. Good evening to you all. I trust you all feel blessed and super fantastic. Today is Monday and the first working day of the week. I'll be sharing with you all how I spent my day. So please read on.

MORNING
I woke up this morning with one thought in my mind, which is to attend all the college courses we were to have today, especially the one at 8 am. So with that thought in mind, I observed my quiet time and committed my day to God's hands before standing up to Start my day.
I brushed my teeth, warmed up my food, had my bath, dressed, ate and got ready to go to class.
When I checked my time, I noticed I was already a few minutes late, therefore I hurriedly walked to the venue of the class.

On getting there, the lecturer had already started and so I located a seat and joined the lectures.
It was a one hour class. And we had other classes too after this one. But, then just when another lecturer came in to teach, some exams officers came in and requested to use the hall for the ongoing MBBS professional exams.
This resulted in the rest of the college courses for the day being canceled.

I left the hall and headed to our departmental classroom to wait for when our departmental course would start.
Our departmental course for today was to start by 1pm and end by 5 pm.

On getting to the class, I was able to locate a seat and got seated.
I noticed people were discussing the death of our course mate who we gotta die yesterday. It was a great shock to the class. This is because many people didn't even realize he was sick all the while, and personally I didn't.
It was a painful one to take in. What a loss to the family and department too.

At some point I left the class to go read somewhere quiet in the company of another of my course mates.
We got there and sat down and read.

AFTERNOON

About an hour later we got an information that our departmental courses for today were canceled by our head of Department because of the demise of one of us.
Also, the burial was to take place today in his parents' compound. Therefore our HOD and some class excos went to represent the class at the burial and to console the family.
When I learned of the information I continued reading till about 2 pm.

While reading, I received a call from one of
My fellowship member said that she was coming to see me in my hostel.
I was already tired of reading, so I packed up and headed to the hostel.
Soon she arrived and brought soup for me. I was excited. I warmed up the food, made Garri and ate with it.

After eating, I took some rest. And after a while I went back to reading together with her..

EVENING
The moment it was 4: 30, we started preparing to go to church. Today is our Monday Bible Study and as choristers, we have to get there by 5 pm to practice our songs.
We got there and joined in the practice.
Meanwhile, it was announced that a candle light procession will be held this evening for our course mate that died.

I was already in church and couldn't join them.
Before church closed by past 8 pm, they were already done.
I had to look at the videos uploaded, many people came out with their candles. It was really a sad and solemn gathering.

That was how I spent my day.
