Hello great steemians this will be my first time making a post about my neighbourhood watch, very much happy to participate today and want to appreciate the organiser and the community.
Here in my post I will be making a content about what happened in my neighborhood and mostly what captured my sight. We all know that things happens almost everyday around our neighborhood some acts are beneficial some are not. So below is a post about what happened around me.
Here in my residence, people living around makes it look mandatory to dump refuses and waste on the street not minding the negative effects is passed down to them living around there. All they care is to make thier rooms neat not minding the environment but the environment matters alot too.
During the week, I watched through my window seeing environmental cleaning agents with thier truck loaded with waste, I rushed out to take some shots with my phone. The manager walked up to me and asked why am taking the shots which I told him reasons.
So I talked to him more about environmental pollution and he listed the effects of dumping waste on the road side being:
❣️ Pollution of the air making it unfit for humans and animals
❣️ Causing delays on the road because of excess waste on the road area. Just like in the picture above the refuses takes over the road making it uneasy for cars to ply.
❣️ Dangerous and poisonous insects and flies are being breed through environmental pollution.
He told me, the Government are working strictly to punish anyone that dumps on the roadside. I tried passing it down to people staying around my neighborhood to keep off such act.
