I would like to expatiate a bit,
During the spring of a man's life, man is taken care of, being guided to find his identity. Man grows. It is possible that this is the most comfortable phase of life. As man grows, he begins to blossom, bringing himself into the summer phase of his life where he fits into the identity he has carved for himself by investing more time and effort in his abilities. In this season, he is only answerable to people and there are just a few counted people, especially in his choices.
Man, who is an adaptable creature, also grows to the Autumn stage of life. This season is the season of harvest of all the efforts imputed and maybe time wasted, knowing fully well that one cannot reap well if he didn't sow well. Then here comes winter (Though we do not have winter, but through watching movies I could attribute winter to being cold). I think this should be a season of rest to enjoy the harvest. In this season one could pick up hobbies of interest, learn a few skills out of love, not for survival, invest, and hang around with family (sadly, most people don't really get to live like this).
As I got to write I wondered why I couldn't just write about how my day was spent, then I discovered That I was brooding on the teaching in church today which talked about 4 rivers at garden of Eden in the Bible The Pastor explained as was revealed to him while he studied that river Pishon, Gihon, Hiddekel, and Euphrates (Genesis 2:10-14) were ordained to flow through in each of the season to avoid drought for humanity (That God delights in the prosperity of his people in all the seasons especially when we align to his will). So God makes our seasons progressive coupled with our choices.
Still about season, today in church, a family brought forth Thanks as their spouse, father and uncle celebrated his 60th birthday and the house-warming of their Mansion in grand style. It was a joyful one that came with lots of testimony as the man recounted how God spares his life. I am glad that his life is fulfilling at this season of his life.
After the service, we went on to their housewarming party. I was awestruck as I took a tour around the building. It was just like in the movies. Anyway, my wandering thoughts were brought to an end as the celebrant's wife employed me to serve her VIP guest in the sitting room upstairs, which I did gladly as I got an opportunity to go close to dignitaries of Akwa Ibom State. Let me not forget to add that I ate, to satiety but, of course, demurely. We @atimisaac @eveetim took lots of pictures to crown our excitement and I arrived home at around a few minutes past 3.
I took a quick nap and was employed as a nanny When I woke up, Immediately, I had to put on my preschool teacher's hat as I did more singing and dancing to pacify my baby cousin(I'm glad he took a post).
As this session got to an end, I decided to write to you about my day.
I'll be having my dinner after this. Thank you for stopping by today.
