Greetings friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day, first and foremost welcome to the accelerator contest week 63, men I'm so delighted to take part in this wonderful contest.

The contest brought to us this week is focused in unveiling the lies we grew up believing when we were kids.

What were the lies you believed while growing up?

Growing up as a kid we were told many lies and at the same time force or compelled to believe in this lies thinking that it is based on absolute truth, since it's our parents that tells us the lie we just have to believe everything they said.

The one lie that I was told as a kid was the fact that when it's raining then the sun shines at the same time just know that a lion has given birth.

My dear that I have grown up to realise that it was all lies and scam

What was your reaction after finding out the truth as an adult?

My reaction after finding out that all this was a lie just made me to laugh and it got me thinking 🤔 about how dump and innocent kids are believing everything they are told.

Now as an adult I now understand the fact that it was just a lie, or rather it was more like a generational saying that to them was just normal and also to make us kids to understand and pay attention to nature and how it affects us.

Do you subscribe to telling lies to young minds in a bid to protect them or you choose to call a spade a spade?

Nope that I do not do not at all, though most of the lies our parents told us back in the days wasn't just lies rather it was a kind of a way to protect us from doing some awful things that might cause harm to us

So I do not subscribe to telling lies to young minds just to protect them rather if I want to keep them from doing something I would just go straight to the point and let them know the dangers involved in it.

Also to me there's no such thing as a spade is a spade because I won't gain anything from it so what's the point in doing it.

This will be where I'm going to call it a day and I will like to invite @vickyson, @mercybliss & @napito
