Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 64: The Steemian[s] I meet almost on a Daily Basis.

in hive-147599 •  4 days ago

As an active member of the Steemit community, I've had the opportunity and privilege of interacting with countless steemians on a daily basis. These interactions have not only enhanced my Steemit and learning experience but have also created a meaningful connection. Most of the times, we share ideas, thoughts and learn from eachother which is absolutely necessary. In this post I shall share with y'all some of the remarkable steemians I meet on a daily basis.

How many people have you made connection with because of Steemit? Any special relationship?

Before going into full details of people I I have made connections with because of Steemit, I'd acknowledge the first person I knew because of Steemit. That person is no other person than @bossj23. @Bossj23 was the first person that introduced the Steemit platform to me after coming across a post of his on Facebook, talking about how one can earn from a social media platform by writing contents and I'm glad I made a great decision of choosing that path.

My journey on Steemit has been smooth because I have someone as passionate as @bossj23 as my mentor. He encourages me to push on, not to relwnwt and hope for the best. Those words of encouragement has done me more good on this platform, even when I face certain challenges. Like he'd always say "Emma, I've learnt a lot from you" and I'd say "what exactly have you learnt while finding it funny" and he'll say "You taught me never to give up". Funnily, till today, I don't understand what he's trying to say.

The most interesting part of my relationship with @bossj23 is that we haven't seen eachother in real life. We only communicate on WhatsApp, because I reside in Abuja while he stays at Uyo and I'm hoping to meet personally meet him soon. Same thing applies to other steemians I know, we haven't seen eachother in real life.

Some of the other steemians I have made connections with are;
@allli001
@blessingogah-1
@us-andrew
@dar22
@jozzie90
@adunni
@sirexcellence01
@princevincent1
@bettymikki
@deetalka6
@sbamsoneu
@basil20
@samuelnkenta and many more.

Tell us where you usually meet or see each other.

For everyone I mentioned in the above paragraph, our meeting point is "WhatsApp"*. Sounds ridiculous though, but that's because where I stay and where they stay is very far from eachother. Most of them stay In Uyo while the others are probably outside Abuja, because I haven't seen any steemian that made mention of staying in Abuja. We have a Group chat on WhatsApp where we connect to eachother via audio calls, video calls and text messages. I also have their personal contacts where we can chat privately..

Do you believe Steemit is a global family? Explain to us.

Steemit can be indeed considered as a global family for the following reasons below:

  • Common Interests: Steemit users /steemians share a passion for cryptocurrency, lifestyle, health and many other important things. This shared interest creates a bond among steemians spread across different communities on the platform and what they have passion for.
  • Diversity: Steemit has members from various countries of the world such as Nigeria, Pakistan, Venezuela, India, America, Indonesia, Korea and many more. We see different cultures and backgrounds which fosters understanding, global connections and tolerance.
  • Engagement: Steemit as a social media platform, users have to participate in Engagement Challenges, community contest/challenges, to keep it rolling and promoting teamwork.
  • Accessibility, Transparency and Accountability: Steemit is available to users in every part of the world regardless of their geographical location, physical limitations and time zones. Blockchain technology ensures trust, accountability and transparency within the ecosystem.

Tell us about the steemian friend you've not met but wish to meet him/her physically someday.

The steemian friend I've not met but wishes to meet him physically is @bossj23. Smiles..... I really want to meet him and express my gratitude for everything he has done for me, because I feel like WhatsApp is not enough for me to show my appreciation.

Conclusion

In Conclusion, Steemit has made me to make connections with so many people and this is a privilege I cannot take for granted. It has been a ride on journey on Steemit and these people has been trying to make it as nice as possible. Hopefully I'll get see each and every one of them someday.

Apart from boss j, you were the second person I met when I was introduced to Steemit via WhatsApp. We've been communicating and I really do love the ideas we share together. Getting to meet bossj23, you'll definitely see him one day. Take care.
