Greetings Steemit friends

It is another sensitive topic brought to our disposal, for us to share our opinions. There are things to put in place when talking about trust. It has to do with the level of commitment in human relationships. How you get to trust, will depend on how it is being reciprocated back to you.

What do you think the word trust means?

Trust is the ability to accept, and believe in someone without fear of betrayal. Trust is about taking doubt out of a relationship, be it couples, friends, family members, co-workers, etc.

Currently, in my country. It is difficult to trust each other, because of the different ethnic, political, and religious beliefs. That is why the level of trust in my country is questioned. I will be seeing it from my angle, why some other person might see it differently from their angles. My country had a colonial boundary that was created far back. This is the reason why we have two official languages. It is easier for those in the English section to trust each other than to trust others in the French section. That is on a national level, down to my local region. Politics has created a huge wall, which has made many not to trust each other. Supporting the current government is a problem for others, and see it as a sign of bad faith.

Sure, I had many instances where I felt my trust was broken. Some years back, I had a mutual understanding with a friend who had to travel out of the country. He had to travel and needed money. so he decided to sell some of his properties. I decided to take the chairs which I gave him the money. It was of great help to him. I have not yet understood what happened, but his friend who was here came back to me. He gave the information that the mother owner of the chair asked about the chairs. That she will be coming to collect, and my money will be refunded. I still did not have a problem. So to be sure my money will be refunded, I will not be giving all the chairs. So he collected and left one couch back at my place. He promised to come back with the money to complete collecting the last couch. My trust was broken, as he never came back. I lost my money and the chairs too.

Can you suggest ways to mend broken trust?

Mend broken trust is simple. Humans are selfish no matter the situation. They will always put themselves first. So have it in mind, no matter how someone trusts you. The person has a point of interest and the moment the person feels they can no longer get the interest. They feel like the trust is broken. People keep trusting you for a reason, there is always a reason why you trust someone.

We need to accept everyone and keep in mind that we have different views on seeing things. The wars over the world keep going on because of broken trust. Every party has a way of justifying their actions.

Trust goes in line with a calm environment, and so if the environment is not calm. Fight will set in, selfishness will take over the playing ground, and trust will be sent under the bed. Humans are independent beings, so we should always prepare our trust to be broken.

hey your thoughts on trust and I appreciate your openness about personal experiences. It's true that trust can be challenging in a diverse and politically charged environment. Your suggestion to accept and understand different perspectives is valuable as it fosters a more harmonious atmosphere. Rebuilding trust requires patience open communication and a genuine effort to understand one another. Your insights remind us of the importance of empathy and compassion in navigating relationships. Keep fostering understanding and positivity🌟✨
