Hello dear friends of Nigeria and @fortwis09 is here once again to make a post but it is not going to be on my story but about technology. Recently, i find that i am also good in computer usage and things relating to it.

Let me share with you one core topic in this subject.

PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

Language is a system of communication by written or spoken word which is used by people a particular country or area.Source

Computer language is a system is a system of instructions and command for operating s computer. It is a language a computer understands and executes.

A program therefore, is a series of instructions which enables the computer to carry out some laid down procedures in order to accomplish given tasks or solve a problem.

Programming is the act of giving a computer a set of instructions or codes to carry out, or perform a specific task. source

Programming language can be said to be a process of taking steps in a procedure and putting such in special languages which the computer can be able to understand.

A computer programming language therefore is a large number of steps required to carry out a procedure.

A programming language is an artificial language designed to express computations that can be performed especially by a computer.Source

It can also be described as a language consisting of keywords, operators, expressions, data types, object classes etc that can be used to create s computer program

There are two types of programming language but i will only define one and in my next post i will look at the examples and the second one.

  • Low level Language: Binary digits are made up of zeroes and one's, for e.g ,100111, 10111, 11000111 etc. These digits are called low level language and it is the language the computer understands since the CPU Operates by responding to elected signals.

In my next post on this same topic, we will look at the typed of low level Language and the second programming language which is high Level Language.
