The Diary Game (23/06/2024) - My Girls two (2) months Anniversary

Introduction

It's the 23rd of June 2024, the date is an important one to the family and a Sunday filled with lots of activities. Let me walk you through my diary game article today, surely it will be an interesting piece.

The Diary

We have been having vigils over the past few weeks and that's quite normal for families that just welcomed newborn babies. With a series of those, I can say we wake up quite early these days with little sleep even at midnight.

The day started quite early and I utilized the very early hour after sleep to celebrate my twin girls who are now two months old. It's amazing to see these beautiful creatures growing well and looking so radiant, shining bright the grace of God on them.

There were a lot of messages wishing my little cuties after I had posted their pictures on my messaging app's status. I mean a lot of beautiful wishes as expected, but I couldn't reply to a lot of them because I was preparing for the Sunday service.

I was the only one who got prepared and eventually left for the service around 7:30 am. Wifey, the kids and my mom were behind at home to rest and look after themselves.

Sundays are special days for many people to renew their relationships with God even if they had slipped away during the week, most people enjoy the privilege of being gathered with other people to worship and pray, something some might have forgotten to do at their homes. The service for the day was themed "Trust in God, not in your power".

The service was great as always. I barely arrived home when I got a call from a friend who came to buy a country-used car in my town some days ago but was unfortunate to see the car having lots of issues in less than 24 hours of purchase. He called to notify me that the car had been brought back to town for repairs as the dealer advised.

As much as Sundays could be a day to rest, it's also eventful a few times. In the evening, we gathered for a house fellowship (from church) in my residence and I led the other 3 families (members of the fellowship) that were present. We have been looking at ***"Human trafficking" *** as a topic from the beginning of the month and for the day, we talked about the roles of the government and individuals to stop these evil acts in our societies.

The fellowship ended at 18:30 and the visiting families departed. We bathed the kids around 19:20 while they were being fed, I stayed up to watch Switzerland vs Germany in the ongoing Euro24 competition, a game that ended in shared spoils.

It was a long and eventful day, I was tired. And I joined my family in bed after the game ended. Thanks for reading through this piece today.
