Thank you for the contest @sahmie.

Who are the important people in your life who have helped shape you? How have they influenced your growth?

I come from a large family with 7 siblings, so it can be said that the main influence was my father and my siblings. Additionally, there are neighbors who have also contributed. I remember a neighbor and his family used to take me to the farthest beaches to spend the day, which was a very significant show of interest. At home, my father had only a third-grade education, so he wasn't very educated and didn't understand well how to raise a child. His main focus was on discipline when he didn't like something, which resulted in a distant relationship rather than a close one. I believe that having a solid foundation at home is crucial for shaping oneself and navigating life. If this foundation is lacking, understanding life becomes harder, and some unwanted experiences remain ingrained, as if they were etched in stone, which I wish had never been part of my environment.

How does your community support families and children? Can you share an example?

Neighbors have always been kind and supportive, giving me encouragement. Back then, it was more common to talk to others and have friends. Even though I knew little about electricity, from a young age, people would ask me to check the lights in houses and cars. Additionally, we used to look after cars together with friends in the neighborhood near a stadium where people would help us. I would tell them my story, and moved by it, they would help me with things like buying books for school. Neighbors have been a gift in my life.

How can the Steemit community be like a village in raising a child? How can they support, guide, and share knowledge to help people grow?

The Steemit community is very special, different from other social networks. Here, respect and values are valued. Meeting so many people with these principles is a light for education and a valuable company for life.

Why is it important for children to have positive role models outside their family? How can these role models help them grow?

Outside the home, there is always someone who can help or harm you. For example, I have a friend whose uncle had a lisp, and my friend imitated him, which affected his speech in adulthood. However, there are also prepared people who encourage you to study and support you as if you were their own child, especially when your family lacks the emotional resources to help you.

Imagine a world where everyone embraces the idea that "it takes a village to raise a child." How would this affect children and society?

In a world where the community promotes good customs and habits, with good people both privately and publicly, it would create a safe society for children to grow up in. This would broaden their mindset and give them a solid foundation in positive values and life projects. Children raised in such a society would be emotionally more complete and better prepared to face life's challenges. The influence of society can be as important as or even more important than that of a single family, as it offers a variety of perspectives and growth opportunities.

Hello @germanbava. Your article beautifully highlights the profound impact of familial and community influences on shaping individuals. It underscores the significance of positive role models beyond the family unit and advocates for a society where collective support fosters children's growth. Indeed, in such a world, children would thrive emotionally and be better equipped to navigate life's challenges. Nice post...thumbs up.
