The boarding school effect on children organized by @steem4nigeria .

Have you or someone close to you experienced life in a boarding school ? Would you like to share the experience ?

I never went to boarding school but my brother has been in boarding school for five years.When my brother passed class seven, my father sent him to an army boarding school where he studied from class eight to class 12.Admission is also not so easy there, so my father sent my brother to an academy for three months where he prepared for the entrance test, after which he passed the entrance test and was admitted to the boarding school of Army.

He got admission in the school. Many people apply for admission there but they only keep few children in which they chose my brother.My father was very happy when he got admission but my brother was very sad at first because he was not used to living outside a house before because we always went together, if we went anywhere, we went together.

My brother was never used to being out of the house before, so at first he was sad, but when he went there, after spending some time, when we talked to him on the phone, he told that now I have fallen in love here when he became friends and he was adjusted there, then we were also happy that now our brother is also happy there.

My brother used to come home after two months and he used to take with him clothes and things that he had to wash.So when my brother used to come home, he used to praise us that we do this all day, he used to tell us the whole day routine, how they follow the time table, how they have a fixed time table for everything. When to eat, when to play, but when he used to come home, he used to relax during those days.

Will you love to send your kids to a boarding school ? Please give your reasons.

That if I have to tell about it, I would also like to send my children to boarding school because it has many advantages that I have seen in my brother. Earlier my brother used to be very naughty. He used to not take things seriously, now he takes his time seriously and his work, which he assumes that I have to continue doing this work, so he completes his work and studies on time.

Through this, my brother has developed the style of following a timetable, he also takes life seriously, he has set his goals, which I have to become after studying.That when we live in boarding school, you have to meet people with different personalities, so you can understand the moods of different people.It also gives children confidence to interact with other people.

What have been the experience trying to relate, to bond or to adjust a kid after spending years in a boarding facility.

We didn't have to experience that much because my brother was very intelligent when he came from budding school, even after that we sent him to college, but he used to go in the morning and leave in the evening,

so we didn't get any such experience but when he came back from there he was mostly quiet at first but slowly then he started talking to us etc. and now he keeps bothering us all day long because there as he was his friend he used to talk to us all day long they used to play .

Do boarding school really produce people who are ready and able to cope with the reality of life without the traditional parental guidance ?

In boarding school, students are also taught the lesson of independence by being away from home and how they can do their own work.Boarding schools also provide world-class educational programs that include career counseling for children, informing them about future career prospects and teaching them for higher education.

But I think it also has many disadvantages because when children are away from their parents, they often get emotional influences that make them very fragile and such children become lonely.Such children mostly like to be alone and talk mostly about their memories of home.Most students in boarding schools do not receive the guidance and emotional support from their parents that they might get at home.

Can the discipline obtained from such institution equal that of the parents at home ? What can't be learnt in a boarding facility ? Do you think they are missing out of any important aspect of their development

I believe that boarding schools teach children discipline etc. which most children cannot get at home. In boarding schools, children are taught discipline etc. which prepares children to face the difficulties that life brings and also saves them from wasting their time.

So that when the children stay in the boarding school, they do not have the emotional support guidance of their families because they meet their families after a long time, due to which the children can become sensitive and they have so many life lessons and There is no estimate of value.As there are also benefits of sending children to boarding school, they also learn about cooking and budgeting because they have to cook many times by themselves.

There they also get an idea of their monthly budget so that when they have to buy their own things etc., they get an idea of how we should spend the money .
