Greetings my dear friends of Steemit and Steem4Nigeria

Last Monday qatar's Amir shik tamim bin hammad Alani landed in New Delhi and he had someone special waiting at the airport Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi breaking protocol PM Modi received the Qatar Amir at the airport. Welcoming him for his two-day visit to the country.
This is Alan's second state visit to India the first one was in 2015 and it comes just over a year after PM Modi visited Qatar. On Tuesday the Amir got a ceremonial welcome at the rashtrapati baven this was followed by his meeting with PM Modi at the Hyderabad house.
They also announced agreements that aim to tackle double Taxation and prevent fiscal evasion of income. Doha's trade with India is $20 billion. Indians live and work there which is about 27% of qatar's population but the Foundation of this relationship is energy.
Qatar is the largest supplier of LNG and LPG to India.
It makes up 48% of India's LNG Imports and 29% of the LPG Imports in 2024. Both sides renewed an energy deal. Qatar will supply LNG to India for 20 years. The deliveries will begin by 2028. It's a massive energy deal worth billions. So there's a lot to like about Qatar. It's a reliable supplier of energy. It is home to thousands of Indians. It's also a solid investor in multiple Industries. Last year Doha gave India some good news, it freed eight ex Indian Navy officers.
New Delhi came to doha's rescue by opening a direct trade route to Qatar. It has also been helping Doha improve local agriculture. So this has been a relationship India has long cultivated sizable trade solid Investments. A large diaspora and personal out reach that's what has made the India relationship.
