CONTEST ALERT: **My Neighborhood Watch #59 - Reporting Events Around us**

Good day and greetings everyone regarding to all my fellow steemians around the world, I welcome you all in this weeks contest titled "My Neighborhood Watch #59 - Reporting Events Around us" organized by @xkool here in this tremendous community known as #Steem4nigeria.
So I will be dropping my entry I hope you finds it interesting as i share with you the events happening around my neighborhood..

Currently they have been an issues of ongoing protest against bad government in my country Nigeria which started on 1st of this month August and hoping to end on the 10th August, the reason behind this protest is to end bad government and stop the inflation of petroleum and others valuable items and goods.

As a result of this protest there have been some hold up in many roads, many buildings such as banks, companies, traffic lights and many other government properties has been vandalized and destroyed by the angry citizens of the country, but truth be told the citizens has endured alot imagine living in a country where the cost of living is higher than what you earn in a month, the economic is so hard that even the rich ones are feeling it left alone the poor and jobless ones who don't have anything, one can't feed properly not to talk of savings, unemployment low salaries has become a diseases that is fighting the citizens, citizens are now living like and outcast.

During this period of protest is a kind of risky and dangerous to step your foot in the protest ground because someone can be hit and shot by a flying bullet or injured while running for his or her safety, arrested by the police or other security agency for vandalizing government properties, but despite all this the citizens still came out boldly to protest which I myself followed without checking the risk involved in it

I think and hope that after this protest things will come back in normal because for the past ten years now things has been getting worst day by day in this country even to eat one square meal is now a big problem for some families, people are dieing day by day as a result of health issues and hunger many are sick and no money to sort their hospital bill and check up, because of all this the citizens has decided to come together to protest and stand against bad government because enough is enough.
