My Neighborhood Watch #56 - Reporting Events Around us

Hi Steem4Nigeria community, warm greetings to everyone here. I shall be reporting an event that happened on the 8th day of July. I just recovered from sickness that hit me last two weeks but of recent I have been in great health. I resumed work and my colleagues were quite happy to see me again after one week of not going to work.

With the excitement, I took pictures of my colleagues, they all looked beautiful and happy.

Work went well throughout the day and it was all exciting and I was happy when I got to see a great event about to happen.

In the course of the day, I was told that one of my kids has a birthday and was going to celebrate it in a special way.

The children are always excited when there is a birthday party happening. The young boy was turning three and his parents bought lots of kids for his classmates.

There were a lot of drinks and also a cake for everyone too. Everything was colourful too. The celebrant wore a nice clothe and a good wristwatch, I am sure he was happy and excited through out the day.

I took a lot of pictures of the event and there were lots of gifts being given to his classmates.
We all sang an happy birthday song for him and prayed for him too. We watched with all excitement as he cut the cake he brought. The children all went back to their classes and the cake was shared to all the staff with the drinks too. A part of the cake was preserved for the young man who has turned 3.

It was quite a wonderful time at my place of work, I enjoyed every bit of it. And soon went back to class. I sent some of the pictures to his parents on WhatsApp as they couldn't come to witness the birthday. We also sent a huge chunk of cake too for the family.

The boy is my friend in school and I was really happy that he added another year to his age.
