To Spend or Not to Spend || @joymm

_{Greetings dear friends.. I hope you are doing great?? I trust you have been good.. once again, it's my pleasure to welcome you all to my blog post and am sure you will love my write-ups. My entry is below;}

Tell us one thing in your country you believe the government should spend money on but doesn't

_{Nigeria is known as giant of Africa but not without problems. There are alot of things in my country that government should spend on but doesn't do it. Currently now, in my country Nigeria,we don't have good roads, no boreholes, no power supply, electricity, unventilated classrooms,etc. In my vicinity now, there is no power supply and it's been upto a week, we haven't seen light, is not like we are not paying our bills. Also, we don't have good construction of roads at all,that is why our cars, machines and vehicle keeps on getting spoilt day by day.}

_{Our government should look into these problems and act fast as soon as possible because it keeps on destroying our vehicles and also makes us to spend more than necessary. Come to talk of inadequate water supply, people struggle to get water for usage. To get water in my vicinity, you have to trekk a long before seeing a borehole tap. This had also led to increasing withdrawal from schools and it's no longer attracting the type of enrollment as others because of heat and unventilated classrooms. These are things Nigeria government should look into and also try to sort things out for us.}

Tell us one thing they shouldn't spend money on but do.

_{In my country Nigeria, I can't even fathom what the government uses our money to do, because they don't provide anything for it's citizens. Still yet, the price of good in the market keeps on increasing daily. Also, Nigeria is owing other countries some billions of money. Yunno, sometimes I ask myself how possible? That is because the money they borrowed, they didn't use it to help our country,they didn't use it for construction of roads, it wasn't also used for steady power supply, electricity, etc, yet people are still suffering, eating from hand to mouth. They just keep the money to theirselves for their own selfish reasons. That is why corruption and immoral activities can't leave our country.}

Is the government of your country good at providing its citizens with social amenities?

_{As it stands now, I must say I don't think am really enjoying any social amenities in my country. We don't have good roads,no employment, no railways, no power security, no recreational faclities, no housing systems, no taxi stands, no comfortable restrooms, no job creation, etc. With all these listed above, you can see that am not enjoy any amenities as a citizen, and Nigeria is not really a nice, pleasant and comfortable place to stay. Our government is not trying at all. Like now, if you are a looking for a job in my country, to find it is very difficult.}

_{Some people who graduated with their certificate today don't even have something reasonable and meaningful doing due to lack of job creation and unemployment. So,that's why some people sees school as a scam.Also, we don't have proper drainage system. Some people here on steemit who lives in Nigeria can testify of it. All our drainages are blocked and citizens are not helping, rather they are making matters worse by blocking the drainages with waste and dirts. So all of these are what our government should look into and help us sort things out.}
