What do you understand by this statement, "for better for worse," in the marriage institution?
“For better for worse” is a phrase used to describe the commitment taken on by couples in a marriage. It is a reminder that, even in difficult times, couples should strive to remain committed to each other. The phrase is often used to signify the promise of commitment in marriage, as well as the understanding that a marriage may encounter difficult times. By making this commitment, couples are promising to stay together through whatever life throws their way. This phrase is a reminder that, in marriage, couples should strive to remain loyal to each other, even when the going gets tough. It is a reminder to look forward to the better times, while still appreciating the strength of the relationship during the worse.

Do you have personal experience suffering from a situation of "for better for worse", or have you heard of it from others?
Yes, I have personal experience with the phrase “for better for worse.” My parents have been married for over 30 years, and I’ve seen them go through their ups and downs. They’ve stuck together through thick and thin and are still going strong. It’s been inspiring to watch them weather the storms and still come out of it together. I’ve also heard stories from friends and family about their relationships and how they’ve gone through the same thing. It’s a phrase that’s been around for generations, and I think it speaks to the strong commitment many people have to their relationships.
If you were to change or encourage/refashion this statement "for better for worse," what would be your options that could reasonably solve the issue, aiming at having peaceful families in general?
