Hello everyone, I'm happy to be here again reporting an event that took place at The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ikom Town branch.

Today I'm glad to bring to our notice the current event that took place at the Presbyterian church, Ikom branch. It was a thing of joy to celebrate our own brother and sister who had accepted all challenges to come together as husband and wife.
It was a white wedding ceremony as we can see in the Boys Bridgette's demonstration over their colleague who had answered to marriage call.
If you have watched this parade before, you'll know it's always interesting. I left home for this occasion at about 10:40AM and before reaching there, they were already signing the marriage register.
I noticed that The Presbyterian church keeps to time just like the Roman Catholic church. The officiating minister doesn't have any time to waste! Once he arrives, the procession starts while the couple matches in.
The couples tried their best to keep to time which is one of the most important facfactors life. The above picture shows how the couple was being celebrated and this makes their wedding ceremony so lively.
I learned something while visiting the Presbyterian church for the wedding ceremony. This is my second visit to the church for a wedding ceremony. I discovered that at the first wedding I attended, the Bride came very late to the wedding, and because of this, the presiding minister was angry and he stopped all music and asked the Bride to walk in.
The bride refused to walk and this took so long because she felt celebrated! But because it's a tradition, she had to walk in. This taught me a lesson over time factor and I discovered that Time is very essential to man.
Marriage as an institution established by God attracts blessings. It begins with the traditional marriage which is the main marriage. This involves going to see the bride's parents and paying for dairy before taking your wife to the altar for marriage blessings.
Marriage had been abused by so many suitors and that is because they had not understood what marriage is all about. Marriage is not the celebration but after the celebration. The reason why many fail in marriage is because "they had used the same technique during courtship to handle their wives or husbands.

• As a newly wedded couple, you must see yourselves as one and share things in common.
• To keep your home, you must not compare your husband with any man out there!
• You must accept your fault as a man and both of you must learn how to say I'm sorry.
• Don't share your husband/wife challenge with anyone out there.
• Always learn to support your home as much as you can.
• Don't stay too long outside, leaving your wife lonely at home.
• Always serve as a defense to your wife and make her feel she married the best Man in the world.
• Don't forget to buy gifts for her, especially during times of celebrations like "Birthdays, Valentine's Day, Christmas celebrations, etc"
In conclusion, the event was successful and we all celebrated with the couple for taking a bold step.
