My Neighborhood Watch #68 - Reporting Events Around us

It's a thing of joy each week to report events around us. I'm very happy to be part of the event this week.

Tell us about those life events/Activities happening in your neighborhood.

It's a wedding ceremony that took place yesterday been 5th of October 2024. I noticed the joy that flows in when two are joined together as husband and wife.

The wedding started at around 9:00am in the morning at Fruitful Vain gospel Ikom. It was a kind of wedding that only called a certain level of a group of young girls and buys because the celebrant is an Artist.

Everybody wants to take a snapshot using their banner during reception. The reception was held in one of the newest hotels here in the Ikom Local government area of Cross River state. Here at HYglo, we only deal with quality which is what the custodian said to all those who came out to celebrate with the couple.

At the end of the celebration, all went with Great joy.

Another event of a child dedication took place today the 6Th of October at the same church as listed above. We went from the church as the man of God handed over the little baby to God, the Church also did their opening of account for the little child.

The reception started immediately and we were there to celebrate with our brother and wife for the gift of a baby.

These were the pillars of the occasion and till the sun went down, they never gave up in their dancing steps. These are the people who make sure that all things are put in place even before the occasion starts.

The dance group equally came and displayed their talent to the group and they were supported by those who had money left in their pockets.

A lady also came and showed her talent by singing and at the end, she asked a girl to come out and asked if she was married and the girl said yes, she did not ask for a particular name, the girl asked for a particular name and she said it was her sister's child!

She now asked the girl to go and empty the poss and bring it to her! She had fear before and brought out little cash and the artist asked if that was all she had? She now said no! So she went back and brought all to her while she kneeled and blessed her. You can see the pictures below:

In conclusion, both events were successful. I'm inviting @sahmie, @ninapenda, and @josepha to look into this contest.
