The Reason why we don't have NEPA light in my locality.

It's another great day to be here once more. I trust we are all doing great. However, I wish to share with you my experience why we hadn't light in my local area.

The Absent of NEPA Light in Ikom LGA of Cross River State

NEPA light here in Nigeria is a thing of pains! The entire country is passing through this pains only for those who are living in state capitals of the country. These are the people who are enjoying the partial light in the country.

Here in my locality, NEPA light has brought more pains especially this time which fuel price has increased to almost #650 per liter.

The pattern of giving light here is something else. They can only bring the light at the end of the month, this can be 2 or 3 days light! The next thing is payment of bill! Once you refuse paying, your light will be disconnected immediately, as this will bring them more money when you wish to reconnect(Reconnection fee).

A visit to NEPA office

Nobody is even willing to visit NEPA office here in my area. This is because of their actions towards giving the light. They can even sell out the light and not bring it to us for months and no one cares.

I just discovered that we are our problems! Because the day they will manage to bring the light for 3 days, we'll start praising them that they had tried! This signifies that we are tired of the light. For over 4 months now there is no NEPA light. We can see the reasons just below:

The current reasons why we hadn't light

When i visited the NEPA office today, the above cable was shown to me that it got burnt. This cable is not a small cable, when you look at it. For those who know about cable, can tell more about it.

According to the information i gathered there, i was told that the cable is not in Nigeria but they had already ordered for it before now.

Many are complaining that NEPA is not bringing light but they don't know the challenged which they are passing through. Now i have known the major problem which they are equally passing through too. However, they had assured that we will have light again in a few time to come.

With this new knowledge, I can now tell others and show the pictures as an evidence that they had challenged too and we have to be patience a while for fixing to take place before we can smile again.

In conclusion, I know that we had challenge now but when it's fixed, they should be constant light and not stories.

Know that we don't have light, we can see that this has help to increased the price of fuel and making things to become very hard.

If NEPA can put things in order in the entire country, the price of fuel will not be on high demand, thereby keeping people in pains.
