The Diary Game || 23- 09- 2024 || Guest For Strong Legs And A Friendly Match At Stay-Fit Team

Dear diary.

As the first light of dawn crept over the horizon, the undeserved goodness of God came to my rescue, waking me up to realize the very essence of the day and backing my responsibilities as there's no one to handle them for me.

It was actually a promising and a long eagerly awaiting day, to have a return match of a week before last week football happening at the stay fit fitness team. The clock was fast ticking and I was prepared ready as i finished some mandatory chores in a wrap.

I was about buckling up my bootlaces as I received a phone call from @alli001 who asked to patiently wait for his arrival, he was at the horizon and we left as soon as he arrived. While on our way to the playground, I stop halfway for personal reason. I resume the journey after some few minutes as I took my charger head from my coworker. I catch up with the team a few minutes later.

At the stay-fit playground.

I was bit late when I landed in the playground, the team were busy completing a repetition of warmly preparing themselves for the main program of the week which is the the guest for a strong legs. I hesitate not as I join the queue to complete the repetition. So today programs were as follows:

  • Football.
  • Warm-up.
  • Calf raise.
  • High knee run.
  • High knee tough.
High knee run-in place.

Following the warm up program which gets us prepared for the main program, we progress to the first program of the week which is the high knee run. High knee run is known for strengthening the legs muscles by making extra strong.

This type of legs and muscles strengthen program is done by positioning our foot in a dorsiflexed position as the knee is raised towards the chest, maintain a rotation of both legs and continue to a desire repetition.

This program helps the abdominal muscles to get stronger, improve our cardiovascular health and as well engage the overall body in aerobics system. We achieve this program in a repetition of 500 moves and it prolong for 20 minutes.

Calf raise.

We progress to another type of program which aim to strengthen our lower abdomen region. Calf raise doesn't involve enough stress but involve lifting up the

This program is done by maintain a standing position with two legs wide apart, lifting ourselves in a upward position standing with just our toe and returning back to the starting position, continuously repeat the process until your desire repetition.

It has a wide benefits such as increasing the calve, donate to body balance, strengthening the tendon and muscles, even the ligament in our ankle and feet, it also prevents injuries, support the overall lower abdomen as the whole. We achieve a 500 repetitions in eight sets and it took us 20 minutes.

High knee tough.

With our guest fo a stronger leg, we progress to high knee touch which is similar to the high knee run but in a variant way. Since the program is titled high knee touch we had to touch our knee, how?

We achieve this specific program by maintaining a standing position lifting our knee upward to our abdominal region and bouncing our knee with our hand while in the air. It requires a simultaneous movement as we speed frequently.

This program helps us stress the overall body but heavily stress the lower abdomen which in return strengthen and extra strong the abdominal muscles, donate to flexibility and mobility and more. We take on every program in a 20 minute interval.

Stretch.

Stretch after exercise is exactly like drinking water after eating food, stretch is necessary and recommended as it strengthen our muscles.

We did a variants stretches such as stretching the waist by swinging our head to the left and right, the shoulder by rotating our hand while holding the shoulder tips, the neck by rotating the head left and right, the knee, we exhale and inhale to help our lungs pump appropriately, we stretch for 10 minutes ans proceed to the next program.

Football !!! football !!! football !!!

Today was not supposed to be football day but following the international public holiday, the team scheduled a football match. The last international public holiday was two weeks ago, we play a match between team Blue and team yellow and it ended 7:1, team Blue smashed team yellow.

Today is a return match between the two rivary, team Blue and yellow. The pairing was, steemians in team Blue were @alli001 @whizzyboy3 @fortwiz09 @emacoz and @chichigirl whereas team yellow were @benton3 @ngoenyi and me. The match started immediately we captured a group picture.

Team Blue came with a high spirit as @lli001 open the scoreline immediately the kick off. They mount an intense pressure on team yellow as they perform a clinical finish which double the goals to 2:0, team blue in command. but i step out to finished a stunning header and open the scoreline for team yellow. Right on half time, team Blue triple the lead by alli001, we ended 3:1 in favour of team blue.

And second half came underway as team yellow buckle up the bootlaces with a confidence aiming to respond back to team blue. Team yellow finds the back of the net with a powerful shoot from outside the box making it 3:2. But team blue got back in track to triple the scoreline with a wonderful finish, increasing the scoreline to 4:2.

But i kept the flame burning, strive with greatness and confidently driving the ball inside the box and awarded a penalty as team blue play rough. I step out as the penalty taker for team yellow with honour to find the back of the net with a clinical strike, increasing the score margin to 4:3.

Team yellow with the restrategise advantage i hit the bar with a wonderful shot on target, miss a stunning bicycle kick and others chances. Team blue were lucky to escape the match but not in full swing.

Just in the middle of the stoppage time, we steal the match from their winning reach to level the score margin at 4:4 draw with a tactical finish from our striker. Team Blue got disappointed, frustrated and intense pressure as they left the field before the official blew the final whistle.

With stay-fit, there's no a dull moment; everything is been out in action. Today was fun and worth being present, those who miss today today miss a lot. Our main football football is on Wednesday, will you be there?
