Hello guys welcome to my blog, it's been a while sharing my thoughts on contest topics but trust me, this caught my attention real good. So I thought to hop in on it after thoroughly going through the contest hint.
Yeah! The topic before us is a sensitive one no doubt and seriously, I cring at the thought of it let alone the sight of it. But then it's still something worth discussing. Let's get into it guys, I've got my two cents for y'all...
CS is the abbrevaited word for Ceaserean section. It was coined out that way to make it easy to be referred to and maybe to make it sound mild in the ear...lol. So I would tell a lay man that CS simply means operation... lols. They can relate better with such word.
Then I would go further to say it's a alternative way of helping a woman deliver during child birth and this is done by opening up the belly of the woman to bring out the child without a push.
This sound simple right? Well it not as simple as you think, cutting up someone with flesh and blood can really be painful. Anyways they give such women some an injection that deadens the cell around the belly area so she doesn't feel the pain all through the period the operation.
Interestingly CS can be as a result of any of the above mentioned, the reason while we think it should be one or two of the above is as a result of our background, environmental factor and geographical location. In most developed countries of the world, CS is a choice and a right.
They could chose to follow this alternative route to bring forth their child and they do this because it's their right, there's no law withholding them from doing so. They feel it's more convenient for them to birth that way rather than push for the child to come forth.

In Nigeria, God has so blessed and strengthened our women that they give birth the natural way. It's not common to see a woman opt in for CS unless there are some complications but it's not just so with people abroad, as most of them choose it over the natural means.
And yes! Situation can always warrant that one opts in for CS and that is in the case of complications that are life threatening, if trying to go the natural way would end the life of the mother and even the unborn child then CS would be the best option, which aims at helping the mother birth the child without the usual natural means.
Well yea! There is this stigma that women who go through CS suffer in this part of the world. They feel you're not woman enough to put to bed, they feel you have some underlying sickness or hidden health complications and all manner of things.
I bet you don't want to be around where such gossips are being done by...of course women. They make you feel it some kind of abomination. Well my take on this is straightforward and simple. We should rather be thankful to God for making such possibility exist with men.
Imagine what would have happened if women find themselves in a situation where they can't put to bed naturally. This already spells doom because many of them would die in the process. And the funny thing is that you might not the able to differentiate after sometime women who went through CS and those that went natural. They will both heal up and forget they ever had to go through pain to put to bed.
Hahahahahahahaha....I could not but laugh here. If we keep living our lives based on what people will say, we would end up not living a fulfilled life. Funny enough, people talk about/badmouth both the living and the dead. If you know CS is the way out as a waiting mother expecting to put to bed then go for it and save your life.
They would talk about it and then shut up but if you decide to listen to those bunch of hypocrite and do what you're not supposed to and die in the process, you will be surprised they would be the first to query why you didn't opt in for it since life was involved. And of course they would still slander and badmouth the dead, the very thing you were trying to avoid. It's your life, take charge!
We have a covenant of ease in this area with God. So...I do not expect that my sister or wife go through this process. They would all give birth the natural way. Nevertheless I do not condemn those who decided to go for CS, it's a wisdom that God has given to men.
CS is a breakthrough in the medical world and it has really blessed homes in no small way. Let us try as much as possible not to stigmatize those who went through this in the course of putting to bed. Rather we should show them love for being brave and courageous, going under a knife.
Many of us here, if not all will not be able to pin point a grown up child who was birthed through CS from a crowd of people , so why the fuse and the stigma. Let love lead friends.
Let me wrap it up here, thanks for staying with me.
Just before I go, let me invite @waqarahmadshah @josepah @ruthjoe to this contest, I hope they find it interesting. Gracias!
