Hi everyone, it's your friend @luanty, hope everyone are doing good out there by the grace of God, I am so thrilled to participate in the contest of creative drawing, it's helped us to show case our talent,a big thanks to the organizers.

My drawing tools are:-
HB pencil
A4PAPER
Eraser

Step by step drawing
I sketch the oval shape of the body along with the shape oval head connected to the body then fixed the eyes on the head with eyeline and eyelashes.

Step 2
I drew the curved lines extending from the body rounded each lines with tip, base on the thickness of the length and the eight tentacles

Step 3
I add texture to the tentacles using short curved lines and spots on the tentacles ,then curved the tentacles for easily movements and actions

Step 4
This is the finishing touch in which I drew the tentacles, I used pencil for shading to make the proper picture comes out to full image of octopus.

•What types of animal is it?
Octopus is an animal with out bones , It has large head with bulging eyes , suckers on arms for crawling and able to hold anything firmly , highly intelligent to the extent that they can confused their predators by releasing ink in other to succeed them , they have ability to change their colors to camouflage the prey, with their skills ,they can squeeze through small space.

What are the tentacles used for?
The tentacles are used for their survival , It help them to navigate in to the water to detect and explore it's environment ,they used tentacles to catch up prey such as fish and other animals across , it's also serves as defense against predators as well as communicating with other octopuses, It's changes colors and texture to suit with the surrounding and highly flexible , enable twist and turn .
