The Diary Game: Quite A Rainy Day [16/10/2024]

Goodevening all, how are you doing, warmest of regards from homeland Nigeria, so today, I am sharing my diary, you know how we do everyday, right? Let's keep each other updated about our day, isn't that what friends do? I mean friends share their day together and it's the beauty of friendship, pleas just come with me, let me take you there.

Waking up early today was a little bit tough for me because since last night, it's been raining cat and dog over here, i struggled to get up from my bed but at the same time, I was enjoying the comfort I had, seriously. When I finally got up by 8am, I said my morning prayers and then went to the kitchen to see if I could fix myself breakfast.

When I was done with breakfast, I took my bath and stepped outside to see how it was, the road was really dry and you could barely see any student going to school due to the heavy downpour, with the rumours I heard, some area were flooded and I pitied the occupants of such areas.

When I came back inside, I took hold of my laptop and began to work, you know what they say right? "A lady man has no food", no, I worked throughout that morning because I had over 500 promotional posts to make, it was tiring anyways.

By the time I was done with the work, the rain had stopped so I stepped outside to stay and enjoy the cold weather, took some few pictures and was just going through some posts on Steemit, I tried and upvoted the ones I could, commented and replied the ones I could as well.

Coming back inside, I met my brother trying to get the water out of the entrance, we've complained this time without number to our landlord and he hasn't given us any positive feedback, at some point I just have to live with it, I snapped him unaware then went inside to boil hot water to make hot tea for the weather. Also the big rubber we dropped outside was filled with water, so I wouldn't have to think of how to go fetch water outside since the compound's pump is faulty.

When I finished taking the tea, I had though I will be able to sleep, little did I know I won't, so I just stepped out again to feed my eyes on the street, but even after the rain, the street was still scanty, one can only imagine how cozy the bed is to some people at the moment that they forgot about going out today (the power of rain).

Since no one was outside, I jejely went back inside my room, OfCourse it was evening already so I had to prepare something for dinner. I had some foodstuffs at home including okra, so small "turn pot" won't be a bad idea, I prepared okra with atama leaf and that was what I took for dinner.

When I finished eating, I became tired as I had over fed myself, I managed to take my bath and then went to my bed, it was ice cold after finished bathing, so I just climbed my bed, grabbed my phone and went on to surf the net, I was just checking through some airdrops both testnet and telegram airdrops before I finally resort to sharing my diary because anytime from now, I might sleep off (no one can say no when nature's calling). So I am here on my bed sharing my diary and after this, I don't think I will be doing anything again.
