Differentiate between Urban and Rural areas stating their features

Typically, rural environment are mostly calm and serene with less population, poor infrastructures, limited houses, broad landscapes, mostly characterized by farming as most of the settlers resort to farming to feed and make a living. It has low social amenities which include poor health care facilities, inadequate water and sanitation demands, lack of good roads amongst others. Most rural areas have poor communication network coverage. Food items and cost of living is generally cheaper in rural areas with low crime rate.
Urban areas on the other hand are highly populated and mostly busy as people tend to always be on the move going about their various businesses. Urban areas have more developed infrastructures and social amenities. Food items are more expensive and cost of living is generally high in urban areas with high rate of crimes.

Which area did you grow up and why?

I grew up in an urban area where I experienced the hustles and bustles of life. Growing up in urban areas makes one live on a fast lane and eat a lot of fast food as time was of an essence and one needs to keep up.
My dad worked in an automobile organization and his work demanded he travel to different cities. He moved from one city to another so we had to join him and relocate to the various cities at different points in time.

If you were told to go to the area you didn't grow up from, will you?

One of my hobby is traveling and getting to know and learn more about other areas and tribes. If I were asked to go to an area I didn't grow up from I will gladly oblige as that will avail me the opportunity to go to somewhere different, learn new cultures, meet new people, eat something different and learn new things.

What things are there in the area you grew up from that aren't in the other?

I have been privileged to visit some rural areas over the years and I have observed certain peculiarities in the rural areas. For instance, everyone knows everyone; since they have low population and have a central market, central water collection and fetching spot, It boost the way they interact and create a sense of oneness amongst them hence everyone knows the other. Contrary to the rural areas is the urban areas where most people do not know the names of their neighbors and there is hardly that spirit of oneness amongst them.
In conclusion, there is high level of serenity in rural areas as compared to most urban areas.

Hello, hope your day is going well and you have explained right that rural areas are calm with fewer people basic facilitiesand farming as the main job.

While our cities are busy crowded and have better services but higher costs. You grew up in the city because of your dad's job, experiencing its fast pace.

You enjoy traveling, so I'd happily explore new places to learn about different cultures. Rural communities often have close bonds, while cities can feel more distant., really enjoyed reading your blog wish you success 💖😊.
