Boarding students
INTRODUCTION
Hello friends, I am so excited to be in my country community and participating in the contest at the same time.
I pump into this contest when I was searching for contest to do because it has been awhile I wrote here.
Boarding school has two side effects, which is the bad and the good.
Have you or someone close to you experienced life in a boarding school? Would you like to share the experience?
life of a boarding student
Myself I was in boarding school from my junior secondary school to my senior secondary school, I don't even know how day student life is
So I have fully experience how hostel life is,and my kids are also in boarding school even my last child started living in the school ever since he was just 7 years old that's his primary 3 and he is still in boarding school, my first child graduated as a boarder and the other three are still there.
Boarding school life is something else, there are so much fun in boarding school, because you will get to know so many things by yourself, you will be able to express yourself in the public.
You will learn to be independent, once you are a boarder you will learn to be smart.
Life experience in boarding school is not to be compare to home, your child will be able to do some works on their own, they will learn how to wake up early and they know what to do at a particular time.
Will you love to send your kids to a boarding school? Please give your reasons.
my kids going back to boarding school
Yes, very well, I'll love to send my kids to boarding school without regretting, boarding school is very good for single parents, instead of you to let a maid take care of your child is better you let them be train in school.
Once your child is in boarding, your mind will be at rest, you won't even need to think of anything concerning their well being of your child.
For instance, if you are a busy mum without a maid a and you won't want your child to mix up with other children around your environment, so the best thing is for you let your child be trained in the school.
So instead for me to allow my child to be at home when he or she is back from school i rather let them be school and mixed up with other children.
What have been the experience trying to relate, to bond or to adjust a kid after spending years in a boarding facility.
me bonding with my kids in school
The experience is always so touching, I can remember when I send my kids to boarding school, every week I need to visit the school and if I am not allowed into the school compound, I will cry my eyes out and at the end of the day the school will let me in, boarding school these days is even good compare to when I was in boarding school, these days the school provide phone and you can reach your child at any time you wish. So the bonding is still very strong once the child is out of school.
Do boarding school really produce people who are ready and able to cope with the reality of life without the traditional parental guidance?
Yes boarding school produce people who are ready to cope with the reality of life, already they have face some difficult challenge in school and they come out strong, so if there is any challenge of life, they will definitely come with it without complaining. They are well trained and they no boundaries, for instance a child in the boarding school will find it so difficult to mixed with people when they are back home. They are well trained.
Can the discipline obtained from such institution equal that of the parents at home? What can't be learnt in a boarding facility? Do you think they are missing out of any important aspect of their development?
The discipline at boarding school and that of home is different, when a child misbehave in the boarding school they get punish immediately but that of home you can feel pity for your child and you let them get spoilt.
For instance if a child in the boarding school are to use white undies, he or she will make sure that their undies are completely clean so that they can't be mock by their fellow students but at home she might not even care about the important of neatness.
A child from the boarding school can never be lazy, they want to be busy with different activities, they want to use their hand and do something.
A child in the boarding school will be able to share his or her experience to his fellow students and there are something's they learnt on their own which we the parent we won't be able to tell them some certain things.
For example my 13 years old daughter is not menstruating but she knows everything about that aspect and she knows what to do once she start experiencing it.
A boarding school child can never be unkept, they are very neat at all times.
I will love to invite my friends to join me in the contest, @okere-blessing, @m-fdo and @ruthjoe
