Assisting a lecturer who is interested in Steemit, Part 1.

Just last week, I checked newcomers that joined Steemit, I realized that most of them or the majority of them were introduced by my classmates. About 60 people were interested, and he organized a class for them. Reading their introduction post, I find out that he promoted Steemit on Facebook, which draws people attention to the platform. He did a good job, and I will say well done to him.

I wish I could do the same, but we cannot all work on the same, path. So that is to say I did my own in another way, which is promoting pride in my area. Let me tell you a story about how I met a man who is a lecturer.

I have a friend named Ezekiel who owns a store on an estate. I always stop by when closing from work; we will gist, eat and drink. He is like my big brother, the fun part of that we met in Lagos, and he is from my state, Aqua Ibom. How do I know him? It started when telegram was trending about the popular air drop; hamster kombat and tap-swap. It was trending in my area as everyone was talking about it as if they were working with the air drop official.

That very day, when I was going home using the estate track, I heard him telling people about the airdrop and how the coin would value in the market. Trust me, many people were moved to ask for a link. People were looking for possible ways to make money, so when airdrop was trending, they rushed immediately. I can count how many steemian who started airdrop seriously as if their life depended on it. Should I mention @emishael60 or @saintkelvin17? Not to talk of our boss @bossj23.

I reached out to Ezekiel as I was also looking for referrals. Since that day, we became friends, and later on, I realized that he is from my state too. After the expectation of people fails, Hamster kombat launches as dust. He was not interested in any airdrops again. I referred him to steemit, but he said he will not be able to make time for it.

He is interested in trading as he always shares the increase or decrease in the price of coins. We were discussing steemit and the price of steem; I did not know that the lecturer who lives in the estate was ear-dropping in our conversation. The next day, he told my friend Ezekiel that he is really interested, so Ezekiel told him to come and meet me. Later in the night, we met at the Ezekiel shop, and I was showing him how outstanding service is compared to other social media. He was very happy as he told me he has a lot he will like to write about, and he told me he is a lecturer.

I recommend a community for him, a teacher and student community as he has more knowledge to offer to the community. So our next step was the sign-up process. I tried signing up using the Steemit site, but it seems they have closed the boarder. I made a post about the complaint, and @wakeupkitty was there to help me out. He suggested 2 way I can go about it:

As of yesterday after closing from work, I met Ezekiel in his shop and he immediately told me the man said I should meet him in his place, just opposite the store. So I called the man to inform him, and he told me to come. He sat out while we tried the sign-up process again. But this time, his daughter joined us, and she was interested in creating content on Twitter. Unfortunately for him, his phone Internet connection was low (he reset it, truncated and off flight mode, but the network was down), so I focused on the daughter. I tried to use SeaWorld to open an account for them, but it offered me 2 options:

Using resource credit (RC)
Using 3 steem.

I tried the resource credit option, but my resource credit was not sufficient. The second option was 3 steem, and I do not have 3 steem at the moment (I have power up all my liquids teem).

Since the first way is not working, it means I have to find another way, which is asking someone else or my mentor to help me out. I have not gotten a reply from the person I reach out to, but I guess anyone can help me out. If you are still confused about what I am asking for, I will say it one more time. We cannot sign up on the Steemit website. I need someone with high resource credit to help us out.

Since I could not do it on my own, I recommend some posts to them by sharing the post link to their WhatsApp. Recommended post for newcomers, all the information about how attempt works and how to navigate in it. Before going, the man's wife came out, and she appreciated me for coming to guide her husband. They are just a lovely family. I took my leave as I was already late (9pm). I promise to get back to him as soon as I get positive feedback from Steemian or my mentor.
