Business diary game||20-January-2025|| Keeping record the goods bought.

Some people find it easier to set up a business but to make it successful is difficult for them. One thing is to Open a business, ut the main importance thing to keep it running is know how to manage it. The management include taking stock and keeping records of the sales and goods bought. This record will help you to know if you're running a business with profit or loss.

My diary begins as I wake up in the morning, I thank my creator for life as a said a short prayer. As I popped my face on the windows, everyone in the compound were busy with chores; sweeping, cleaning, cooking while some of them were already in the bathroom. I have less work to do because I have already arranged everything I need to do the next, fetching water ans washing plate. So as I wake up I went straight to the bathroom to take my bath.

There's this particular neighbor that every time she use the bathroom, everyone would be complaining because she would use almost 1 hour to bath. We have her a name Land lady. As a went to the bathroom there were 2 neighbors waiting as they were laughing. When I saw them laughing I already know that land lady is in charge so we all stood there gisting. That's how I spend 1 hours before I was able to take my bath.

When I was dressing up I checked time and it was 8:05 which am already late to work. After getting ready left because I have to walk about 30 to 40min to get to my walking place. There's a construction going on in our street as they rebuilt the gutter but currently working on the road. I was take the picture everyday I would combine all the pictures together when they're done with the projects. So I took some pictures as usual while I rush in other to get to the shop before 9am.

On my way I bought some snacks with my customer worth N500 which is about 1.7 steem. When I get to the shop I swept everywhere before shading my market. I shading bags of rice, minerals and bottle water. After shading I cleaned inside the shop and making sure all the goods inside is clean. We had an order from a customer which my boss sent it on text message to arrange it outside so that person can pick it up early in the morning. I arrange the good while calculating the total amount so that my madam can send the bill to the customer. Some hours later my boss to deliver the good to the Customer.

I pack the good in her car and I also have her the receipt of the good with the total amount. She left to deliver it while I record the good on our sales book. This sales book is what we'll use to take stock every month. She took the goods to them with the receipt. She came back later to get the list of the good we need to buy. I have already listed them in paper sheet. I handed the list to she as she left to the market. After about 3 hours later she returned with goods she bought. Here are the good she purchase that day:

• Schweppes can
• Trophy can
• Fanta pet
• Chi exotic BS
• Heineken
• Laqua water

I immediately pack the goods down to count and record the quantity. We have a separate recorded her while I did mine. At the end of the day we cross check whether we have the same figures. I wrote the goods, the quantity and the price to be sold. The table below shows how we recorded the goods we bought in the day.

After cross checking and recording the quantity, I went to her to ask about the current price and she called out the prices while i change it in my price list. Am not surprised that some goods has been added about 1000 to 2000 from the previous one we bought. So we sell according to how we bought it. I then arrange the goods inside the shop batch by batch. After arranging I sat down to eat as I was hungry I wasn't eating since morning except the snack I bought on my way. Because my friend were outside, I took inside to eat because he's not eating my food today.😂

After eating and being satisfied, i brought my chair to sit outside as I relaxed because I was full. My friend came to me complaining and I was like......."me too, am starving like this" not knowing that there was oil on my mouth. Chai, he was like "are you sure you're hungry" ......with one kind look. When he continues to stare at my mouth, I immediately use my hand to clean my mouth and I was like: "how do this oil stain in my mouth maybe it breeze that blew it to my mouth." That's our normal character we use to display as our other neighbors were laughing as he told them to come and ask me how breeze blew oil to my, not just oil oo but cooking oil, soup oil. The draws continue as at last I have up and I had to buy him bread and mineral.

In the evening we all park to go and rest for another day. After closing on my way I bought some snacks again but this time around I have not tasted this particular one for about 5 years. I was surprised to see that they still have the biscuits. We called it Short bread, 5 years ago I bought it at N10 but now I bought it N300(three hundred naira).

I thought it's quite expensive as I post it on my WhatsApp status and someone replied that he bought the same biscuit at N500(five hundred naira). I also bought a drink worth of 250, just a 40cl of 7up. That's what I use as my dinner for the day. When I got home, there was power supply in a who street as everyone were outside enjoying the evening breeze. My phone later off as it was 10 percent and I couldn't post the diary that day.
