Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 26: The Diary Game(Thursday 18-04-2024- visiting homeless people in my area)

"Oh thank God it's Thursday, " Thursday is a special day because it's my free time, it's an environmental sanitation and we're to resume work but 10am. I wake up early in the morning, I checked my phone and it's was 6:30am, I was like, today is a free day so I continue sleeping.

Morning

My brother who was awake was wondering why am still sleeping and he refuses to wake him, he was not aware that I heard him, I told him that its Thursday. At 7:00, I stood up to fetched water because if not I wouldn't see anywhere to fetched, in the street, they say it's the survival for the fittest.

As usual I fetched 2 bucket of water for me and my brother. After doing house chores, I took my bath because I have decided to start going to the working place, one of my friend told me he's already in the shop, you know why? Let me gist you about the story and why.

He was expecting his girlfriend to come to the shop but unluckily for him, the gril came when his boss was around, so I took her in and gave her a seat while waiting for my friend, the girl gave me a bottle to whine to give my friend for his birthday(according to her because deep down I know that the guy doesn't have any birthday this month) i collected it, my friend then send a necklace and some money to her. I was just starring at them and I suddenly remembered this song by burna boy: e don cast, last last, na everybody go chop breakfast. I was just singing the music in my mind. I didn't show my friend the wine they girl gave me for his birthday, I only told him that the she ask me to give him she gave something to give him and I promise to show him the next day.

He called me that he's in the shop, so I hurry to meet him, but I remember I have a post about homeless people so I decided to visit the nearby railway to capture the best picture for my post. when someone said am in the city, try to find out what and how is doing because most of them doesn't have a proper place to raise their head, imagine in this dangerous place.

I capture pictures to show you guys how people survived in Lagos, some of them here, they will dress good in daytime and at night this is where they end up to.

The place was quite busy, some were sleeping while others were cooking, other's were selling used clothes and shoes, street life. let me work you down to the pictures:

*After taking some pictures secretly (the place is very dangerous because they can snatch your phone and nobody will say a word) i headed back to my working place, i was in the shop within 45 minutes walk. Since it environment sanitation, I swept the environment and ensure everywhere is cleaned.

My friend came out to collect the gift, that's how I present the wine to him. Imagine the question he ask me: "has you girl bought you a wine before" I was like i will just kill someone child now, e dey sweet you now, later you go cry for break-up.😀

Before you know, it's was 10am, time to shade market, I shaded my market outside, waiting to see how today's Market will be.

Afternoon

The shop was so bored so I turn on my MP3 power by power bank, i was enjoying throwback music on Vibe FM 94.5. Suddenly, someone appear, my long time girl friend, she came to buy something in the market and she branch to say hi to me. We chatted for an hour before she left because she said she was in the hurry. we took some picture together 😎let your mind rest because it's not actually what you're thinking, she's just my friend.

The rest of the day was boring so I tuned on my MP3 to my favourite station called VIBE FM. Omo the station get vibe, they were giving me jam beat back to back. I didn't make more sales as I expected.

*So I used that chance to write my post about homeless people in my country. I close at 8pm, even on my way home, I was still typing while walking. It took me a whole 5 hours to write and publish the post . I publish it at about 10pm.

Evening and night

It's ended when my phone finally gotten to 0%, realizing that there's nothing to do, i closed my eye, and i was grateful to wake up the next which is Friday, that's how I spent my day on Thursday, 18-04-2024, Thank you for reading.
