Elephants is a kind of animal that is big in shape and lovely. They have large ears and tusks.
There are three kinds of elephant: bush, African forest and Asian elephant.
A young elephants is known as calf and they rely on their mother for survival.
Elephants have retentive memory to remember routes and holes so they are never found wondering in the dessert at all.

In some part of the country, elephants are sacred and they are attributed to being deities which they worship and value.
Elephants can also be used as means of transportation from one place to another.
They communicate through trumpeting, roaring and rumbling.

I never knew but this particular contest have taught me about female elephants reproduction.
Female elephants matures at the age of 10-12 years and they are known as cow while male elephants are known as bull. Female elephants carry their babies for 22 months and research have shown that they are the longest mammals to birth a child at that months and they reproduce just 1 calf which they take care of.
