Introduction

IMG-20220425-WA0011.jpg

Hello dear friends and fellow Nigerians, have you noticed the change in the community Curators? Have you seen the twist they come with? Indeed, the present steemit team rocks💃💃💃💃💃! I admire them a lot.

Congratulations to all the curators that made it for the October curation including me. Yes, I belong to team 01.

By means of this update, @steemitblog announced the October Community Curators as comprising of 6 teams. Team 1 to 5 and the millionaire's team.

I am in love with this millionaire's team because they are going to focus on contests. For quite some times now, contests posts have been neglected, whereas they form an integral part of steemit as they help keep the users busy with varieties of topics and massive rewards. They deserve to be brought to the limelight and this is what the steemit team has just done. They have raised the steempower of the steemcurator account that they will use to curate contests to 1 million steem. That is what has accounted to the name. Amazing! Isn't it?

Another interesting thing about the October Community Curators is that, they are made up of different team members, ranging from 4 to 6 unlike before. It is experimental but I believe it will really go well.

The Teams And Their Guidelines

IMG-20220425-WA0011.jpg

Following that update, the various teams have grouped themselves and came up with the guidelines that will help us all aim out blows well so as to make them count. You might have seen the guidelines but majority may not have seen them. Here, I have included all the links to the posts from the various teams that contain all guidelines that we need to follow

Summary Of All Guidelines

IMG-20220425-WA0011.jpg

From the foregoing, all the guidelines have something in common which I have summed up below

  • Your publications must be steemexclusive

  • It must contain at least 300 words

  • It must be plagiarism free

  • Your images must be from free source site

  • You must be in #club5050 #club75 or #club100

  • Your publications must be detailed and well formatted

  • You can post in any community or on your blog

  • They also vote comments but it has to relate to the publication you are commenting on or compliment the publication and must be at least 50 words.

  • You can post in any topic with any related tags.

  • They can also support publications that support #burnsteem.

  • Remember that team millionaire is here for contest hosts. So host your contests if you can and add meaningful rewards.

Two Main Formatting Technics That You Shouldn't Miss In Your Publications

IMG-20220425-WA0011.jpg

Centered headings
Justified alignment

I had seen so many publications without these two major ingredients that add lustre to publications. There are many others but at least these two can make your publications presentable.

IMG-20220425-WA0011.jpg

Centered headings

IMG-20220425-WA0011.jpg

This is a code that makes your headings and subheadings to be at the center of your post page like the centered heading above. It centralizes your headings and make them look inviting. The code is simple and it's something you can master. I have shared it below

Screenshot_20220930-133114.jpg

The outcome is below

Your heading here

To make the heading to be bold, you can then add either # or arteries like below

Screenshot_20220930-133300.jpg

See the outcome below

Your heading here

You can also do it like this👇

See the outcome below

your heading here

Alternatively, you can do this 👇

The outcome is below

With these ways, you can achieve a centered heading in your publications. There may be other ways but this will go a long way. Hope it is helpful?

Justified alignment

IMG-20220425-WA0011.jpg

Next is justified alignment. So many users still do not know how to apply this. This code when properly done helps to arrange your writeup or the wordings in your post within margins especially at the right hand side. By default, the left hand side of your publications are aligned. But the right is not and as such, you need to align it yourself with this code that I will soon show you.

Screenshot_20220930-134301.jpg

The screenshot above illustrates what I mean. That is an example of an unjustified write up. To to arrange it, simple place the following codes before and after the write up. One will be above and the last one will be below or at the end.

Screenshot_20220930-134921.jpg

You can see the left hand side of the write up is now arranged. That is what you will achieve when you place the codes well, the first at the beginning and the other at the end.

Screenshot_20220930-135223.jpg

this will be at the beginning

Then write everything you want to write and place the last code below

Screenshot_20220930-135416.jpg

That is what I did to achieve the result below

Screenshot_20220930-135040.jpg

Try it out and see how good you will feel and how proud you will feel about your publications. There are still other markdown styles which you need to learn. Try hard to study achievement 4 material by @cryptokannon here, you will be surprised at what you will learn to improve your publications' outlook.

Hence, as October comes, be sure to aim your blow where it counts. Make yourself visible and smile along with others.

Your comments on Publications also counts. Don't fail to make meaningful comments on other users publications.

Good luck 🤞 to you all.

You did quite a nice job by giving us this update ma, you've done one of the many things you knows how to do best once again. However, people like me don't just like this new method aside the team millionaire curators.

There'll be no tracking of tags again, just random posts which I'm very much sure a lot of other quality posts will be skipped.

Adding tags to post, isn't it the second method for curators to locate post? and when it's of less quality they skip and move to the other, isn't this how they've been doing? Now ...

Without tracking tags, quality posts from minor communities or of less engagement won't even stand out.

I simply hate this method but wish it goes well

Use any tag that relates to what you are writing about
