Good day my good steemians it my pleasure once again.
To day's weather condition was dark that I thought it was going to rain cat and dog but to my great surprise it only rain for a while and stop before you know The weather bright up again that men and women where happy to go out to their different businesses.
And I found find out that there is this small market called Ifa market. This market sale once a week, and Friday being 6 October was the day of the market.
Women and men where busy sealing and people from neighboring villages come to buy and sales too every where was busy.
So I decided to go and buy things for my house use mostly food stuff.
To my great surprise I find out that onions that was not up to 50 naira last week is now 100 naira
I was surprised infact I was speechless I couldn't wait than to take a snap of it on my palms. Then I asked the lady how much is she buying a bag that she is seals this 100 naira? She said 65,000 naira. Which is about 488 steem. I pinched and said to myself "if I buy this size of the onions 100 naira how about those I'm better than?. Does it mean that they will stop eating onions again until the price come down? How will there survive?.
Immediately I remembered the report @hayleydemi gave. On this same platform about the independent day celebration. And join in that same voice and ask what are we celebrating? When every thing is on the high side we are celebrating hardship. This report is not giving me joy at all.
Anyway that is my report for now.
Thank you.
