GRATITUDE

It's easy to get caught up in what we don't have or what hasn't gone our way. Sometimes, we focus so much on our struggles that we forget to appreciate the little things that actually make life sweet, example, Pear and Corn. Just kidding, lol. But the truth is, gratitude is one of the most important things we need to practice every day.

Gratitude is important because it shifts our focus from what's missing to what's present. For this 9ja we dey, especially in this our Tinubu Administration, things are tough, no doubt. But when you take a moment to count your blessings, you go realize say e no too bad like that.

Maybe you woke up this morning with good health, maybe you have food to eat, or maybe you have people around you who care. These things might seem small, but they’re blessings many persons are not privileged to enjoy.

When we practice gratitude, it also helps us find peace in difficult times. It tweaks our mind to believe that even when things are not going as planned, there’s always something to be thankful for. As we dey talk am for here, At all, At all, na im bad pass. It might be as simple as having the strength to face another day like today.

Gratitude helps you see the good in every situation, no matter how small.

I remember a time when I was going through a rough patch. Hmmm. It's not because I'm writing this now. It really wasn't easy at all. Everything just seemed to be going wrong. But one day, I decided to focus on the things that were actually working out, no matter how small they were. I started to feel more hopeful. It was like the weight of my problems reduced because I was focusing on the positives.

The thing is, gratitude doesn’t mean ignoring your problems. It means acknowledging them, but choosing to focus on the good things as well. E dey help us see sey, life no be all bad, and there’s always something to smile about.

So today, take a moment to be grateful. It could be for anything, no matter how small. Thank God for the air you breathe, the food you eat, and the people in your life. Gratitude is the key to happiness in, and it’s something we should all practice in our everyday lives.
