Hello friends in Steem 4 Nigeria community, I am delighted to write again on this topic the "Effect of family planning in a Nation's Population and Economy "

What do you understand about Family Planning?

To my best of understanding family planning is a means of controlling the birth rate of children in a family through different methods. Some use natural control while others use contraceptive.

I will say that family planning is good depending on the type. The reaction of family planning varies depending on individuals. Whichever method that is used or to be used depends on the individuals that are involved. As a person I will prefer the natural method which is withdrawal and counting the safe periods. Because I have seen someone who used the contraceptive who couldn't reverse the effects of the contraceptive which she took. She now became my counsellor advising that I should use the natural methods because of the reaction which may not be reversible in some cases. Like in her case when she was ready to conceive again she could not even till now. The contraception has rendered her barren.

Do you think countries should regulate their population using Family Planning?

For me what will control the population of a country much better is education. If the young people are engaged more in education at their prime age than remain idle it will in a way control the conception of unwanted pregnancy as they will be more focused on their studies.

If countries have a way of controlling birth rate of their country yes they should use family planning. The type of family planning they should use should be the one that should not render the people infertile should in case they want to increase their population again.

How do you think that will help them? Explain.

It will help them to manage their resources as over population will affect their resources such as schools, food. Though increase population equals increased workforce if properly educated.

Do you encourage family planning? Tell us your reasons.

Family planning is good to be used and I personally encourage it but I will encourage it to be used wisely depending on individuals because it side effects on individuals varies.
I also encourage family planning using natural method and not contraceptives

Tell us about some of the methods or types of family planning you know or have heard of.

I know of condoms, implant, pills, natural methods such as withdrawal and safe periods. Amongst all I will recommend natural methods.
