What is your understanding about the word, Courtship?

Courtship is a relationship that exists between two partners who intend knowing each other in a manner that can lead to marriage.
Courtship traditionally requires approval of both parents,but in our society today,we can see a boy and a girl,a man and another man or a woman and another woman in such relationship without the consent of their parents.Sometimes the girl sneaks out from her mother's watch to meet the man in his house or eatery for pleasure in the name of courtship.

How can people in courtship maintain a good relationship that can lead to marriage?

Maintaining a good relationship in courtship requires:
-effective communication by both genders.
-Spending quality time together,discuss practical matters like finances and hanging out for social activities in order to study compatibility.
-Honesty and respect.
-consulting parents in issues beyond their knowledge for guidance and counselling.
-leaning how to resolve their differences when there is misunderstanding.
These are ways partners can maintain good relationship in courtship that can lead to marriage.

Are there things to be hidden during courtship?

Honestly,nothing should be hidden during courtship. Openness is the key factor in order to build trust. There should be zero tolerance in hiding certain matters that can pose a challenge in future or be of great importance before or after wedding. It is at this stage,both parties test their blood group and genotype compatibility. Review mistakes in their past lives and take measures to prevent future occurrences.

Do you think that there's time frame in courtship? Explain.

There is no time frame in courtship.why I said so is that:
-Individual circumstances vary,just as we have rainy and dry seasons,winter and summer times in nature. so there are situations that can make the relationship delay from translating into marriage at a desired time frame.
Again,courtship has approximately 3 phases which are:compatibility test phase,review of future plan and goal phase,and finally,pre-marriage plan phase.
All these phases require enough time and resources to make it work.

Is courtship a guarantee for successful marriage?

No! there are possible issues that can lead to break up in marriage if caution is not taken.
Such as; deceit,incompatibility in rhesus factor result if not checked during courtship,emotional or physical abuse,poor communication,dishonesty,interference from outsiders and family members,lack of mutual respect and love,infidelity and lots more.
When any of these surfaces at the worst moment of the couples,courtship may not be remembered or save the situation.

Conclusion:
Courtship is an important time for partners to test their compatibility in all forms, develop skills to face their future lives' challenges so as to enjoy an ideal marriage.
So from my perspective,courtship should be a time of originality,get rid of fake lives and learn how to face reality courageously in marriage.
