Introduction

The quote "Not All Heroes Wear Capes" dates back to the year 2008. Over the years, it has been modified. Some say; Not all Heroes Wear Capes, they wear scrubs. Others add whatever they want to add to portray who they think a hero is. But then the question is, who is a hero?

What do you understand by the word Hero?

A hero is a person who is respected for his courage, unwavering determination, great achievements, or nobility. A hero is one who is ready to sacrifice everything for those he loves. A hero is one who steps up in times of need.

What Do You Think Makes Someone A Hero, Whether They Wear A Cape Or Not

Just like I've mentioned before, a hero is kind, is selfless, and knows his worth. The following are things a hero does:

• A Hero is ready to step up voluntarily to help others when they are in need.

• A Hero helps people without expecting anything in return. He helps not because of the respect, fame or recognition, but because he cares.

How can we encourage more acts of heroism in our societies?

Thomas Fuller said that Charity begins at home, but does not end there. Likewise, heroism must first start from home before being extended to others in the society. Therefore, parents should try their best to teach their children the importance of being selfless, caring, and loving.

Secondly, for those of us who are members of the society, it is important to appreciate the efforts of these heroes so they know they are loved. This will go a long way in encouraging them to continue their selfless acts of kindness.

The truth of the matter is, not all of us are born with the natural gift of selflessness, and care. However, it's possible to learn it. Naturally, we all have love in us so selflessness is something we can learn which will in turn move us to step forward and help those who are in need. ANYONE CAN BE A HERO!.

If you could be a hero without a cape, what positive change would you make?

I don't plan on saving the world, cause it's not something one person can do. All I plan on doing is doing all I can to help my family, friends, and people around me. I want to impact the lives of my family and friends in a positive way. Protect them, fight for them, and provide for them when they are in need.

Conclusion

Research has shown that selfless people live a more fulfilled life. They are satisfied, and are very respected people. It's important for us to do our best to help people in every way we can cause ANYONE CAN BE A HERO!
