Temptation

---

Temptation can be defined as the act of tempting or being tempted into doing something that is wrong or otherwise termed as evil which of course when we do it will result in regrets and also it is being termed as a sin.

That is the general definition of the word temptation, now let's look at it from a different perspective (love).

Temptation in love can be defined as something that tries to lure or seduce us into doing something that will in turn hurt our partner.

Causes of temptation

Some of the various causes of temptation to a person are;

---

• The people around you can definitely determine temptation, example you might not be a smoker but your friend smokes as a result of that you can be tempted to smoke as well
• Another thing that causes a person to be tempted is pride
• Another and most effective causes of temptation to a person is lust which has to do with sexual desires
• Above all manipulation can also lead to misleading a person into temptation

How to avoid temptation

---

There are so many ways we can use in avoiding temptations and there are;

• The first and most effective ways of avoiding temptation is through distractions
• Two heads are better than one, so it would be wise to get others involved
• Considering your schedules and not creating time that gives temptation a chance
• Know your target because this can help foster focus in life and avoid falling for temptation.
