Yes these nothing wrong in staying small.
After all the Bible says: Zachariah 4:10
"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.”
So you can start small but ensure you don't remain small just keep growing until you achieve your goals.
You might not look like it now, yes people are mocking you now because they feel they are doing better than you but never mind just keep putting in your best and don't you ever give up, mind you it doesn't matter how long it takes to get to get to your destination what matters is you getting there at last.
Always Remember that people don't celebrate the PROCESS but they celebrate the PROGRESS, They don't celebrate the STRUGGLE but they celebrate the SUCCESS.
